Really well done. I’m rewiring a motor and you videos are identical to what I’m going through including the same winding spool, insulating wire, fish paper and varnish from Amazon. You’re making it look easy. One small thing I’m doing differently is to put in the fish paper covers when I get each stator installed so the windings don’t fall out. Getting the inter-coil wires to the right length is a pain!
@@AlmostMachining I have a old 3 hp Fairbanks Morris 220 that sat out side for years it probably needs a rewind I'm thinking . It was seized up but I did manage to get it apart . It's missing a few leads and definitely needs new bearings.

Amazing job! Congratulations. My hat is off to you for tackling this complicated rebuild. Your grinder will be running smooth!!
Thank you!
Very cool😎
Nice Job on this topic and with a great result.
Thank you. Picked up another to do as well.
Really Nice Phil. I am sure Stan is thankful.
Thank you so much Randy. Your advice was invaluable!!!
Was this from Stan's grinder?
3:40 beautiful tidy job
Thank you!
Very admirable gob I would have no idea how to start t he is kind of a project .
They are fun to do but it takes me a long time. I think shorter than a shops lead time but still.

We will have to talk then. If the coils meg fine then the leads can just be added.
@@AlmostMachining sound like a plan. I want to use it to run a line for my line shaft equipment. Gotta keep it vintage 😉
Really enjoyed your video. Great job. I am working on an old bench grinder and need to rewind it. Can you tell me where you get your supplies?
Amazon has been pretty good with having usable materials. A motor shop would be better but they are less likely to sell them.
GG
Thank you!
