My 31 year old daughter panicked. She has condo payments, massive student loans, etc. This is criminal.

No the courts blocked the funding freeze. 47 says that’s still on and the memo was rescinded because of its vagary, lack of details and the confusion it caused. Senators of all stripes were flooded with frantic calls and it created mass panic. That’s why the memo was rescinded while he still maintains the freeze is on as it moves through the court system. Better to call and tie up their staff and calls have to be logged in. Emails can be ignored. Just a suggestion. I use to email all the time till was tipped off on how this process actually works and calls are more effective.

Never have I been so embarrassed to be a US Citizen. I really hope the world realizes that the fools gold--plated doorknob was not the choice of the majority. For about 3 months now, I've been building up my pantry with essentials like rice, beans, dry pasta, canned goods, olive oil, nuts, coffee, etc. I've never felt compelled to do that, but I feel okay about it. I just followed my instincts and did it. Now I'm glad I did, because I feel no fear about a shortage of goods. I could go 2 months probably, without shopping for anything, if I was mindful. The Meals on Wheels funding comes from the Older Americans Act Nutrition Program orginally permanently authorized by Congress under Title Iii in 1972 of the OAA. Laws such as these cannot be eliminated by the executive branch by an executive order and will be nullified in by the courts. However, the chaos is the purpose of F47's cruelty.

No the courts blocked the funding freeze. 47 says that’s still on and the memo was rescinded because of its vagary, lack of details and the confusion it caused. Senators of all stripes were flooded with frantic calls and it created mass panic. That’s why the memo was rescinded while he still maintains the freeze is on as it moves through the court system. Pushback works!
Better to call and tie up their staff and calls have to be logged in. Emails can be ignored. Just a suggestion. I use to email all the time till was tipped off on how this process actually works and calls are more effective.

Never have I been so embarrassed to be a US Citizen. I really hope the world realizes that the fools gold--plated doorknob was not the choice of the majority.
For about 3 months now, I've been building up my pantry with essentials like rice, beans, dry pasta, canned goods, olive oil, nuts, coffee, etc. I've never felt compelled to do that, but I feel okay about it. I just followed my instincts and did it. Now I'm glad I did, because I feel no fear about a shortage of goods. I could go 2 months probably, without shopping for anything, if I was mindful. I trust any disruption will be resolved pretty quickly, though the reverbs may be felt widely and seriously.
