I prayed this prayer during a relationship with a girl. I felt anxiety throughout the relationship and kept playing this song every night. 2 weeks later the girl ended the relationship, leaving me broken and confused. I then ran to drugs, pornography, and success to fill the void. None of it worked and then quarantine hit. And when quarantine hit it helped realize that I was building my life on falling sand, so I finally gave my life to God. Fast forward to now, I can listen to this song and look back on that time when I was praying for God to put me in the fire, GOD IS SO GOOD. I'm praying the same prayer now but this time I'm living for God and wanting Him to use me to impact people for His kingdom.
This song crushed my heart. As I listened, I saw a panoramic view of my life. I was taken from my mom when I was 7 years old by the courts of California. I was institutionalized for 10 years. I suffered many horrible things for those 10 years. Then when I was 18 Jesus revealed himself to me and I was saved. Im 70 years old now and have had a blessed life. Jesus helped me graduate from college, gave me two beautiful daughters,and 4 grandsons. Jesus was my mother, and my father, and my brother and my savior. I have lived in the goodness of God. He has been faithful.
I was born a Muslim in Iraq. I was worried and depressed, sitting and looking at the Tigris River in my city.Jesus' face appeared to me in the water and told me. "Son, you're not alone" And now I'm a Christian, and I pray every day at the edge of the river.Thank you Jesus for this grace. I'm not alone right now. Jesus is with me.
I love this song so much. Thank you lord for loving and saving me. Tears come down because I know you love me and unconditionally. I give praises and worship to you mighty Jesus
*This song is SO TIMELY for my family and I! My 13 year old sister has cancer, and Sunday I had gotten a call from my parents asking to gather all of my siblings to come and say our goodbyes… We prayed, we asked for a miracle, and here we are 5 days later and my sister has made a MIRACULOUS recovery and doctors are in AWE!*
