I have recently reverted to Islam alhamdulliah. The first Muslim I met asked if I planned on changing my name. My birth name is jake but now everyone at the masjid knows me as yakub and I feel blessed. May Allah guide and bless you all. Everytime I hear someone call me yakub it feels very natural.
My wifes father name is also yakub and he is about 60 something and also is great person Is unique name 😊 And by the sound of your text you are amazing unique also brother

I love mufti Menk for the sake of Allah. He's a very good speaker and easy to understand his speech. May Allah bless him and all of us brothers and sisters in Islam. The story of Yusuf a.s. is one the most beautiful tale in Quran. The most beautiful story for one of the most beautiful creation of Allah. Half of the beauty of this world Allah has given it to Yusuf a.s.. pray to Allah may all of us will be able to meet him and all the prophets in Jannah.

The first time I knew about yusuf as was from the movie king of dreams which I grew up with and that was influenced by the bible which made me think like yo this is real but growing up I know that this movie was mostly correct but the Qur'ans story on him is the truth

The 11 brothers are very wrong for what they did but luckily this time they did not repeat the same mistake that Qabil did for killing his brother Habil out of jealousy. At least this time shaitan failed to convince them to commit murder..

@@Han17dec21 : I did say that the brothers action against Yusuf was very wrong, didn't I? When did I ever try to justify their crime? It is never okay to harm an innocent person. I know that. Is it because I said luckily they didn't kill Yusuf? Yes, it is a fortunate thing that they didn't carry on with their evil intention in committing a bigger crime, which is a murder. I'm here to share a lesson that I've learned from the story of Yusuf and his brothers. I'm not here to judge their imaan, I have no right to do so. But who are you to judge me?
