    The screen that flips down in genius, that will work great in my A Class RV.

    Hello, I was wondering how the plastic hinges are doing? Did they fall off or mark the ceiling over time? thanks Lou

      @SalesTriage 2 місяці тому

      No marks but I did find that when the van got very warm over a prolonged period, that they would fall off, cleanly. In my mind it's a very inexpensive solution to replace

    Could I connect an xbox or PlayStation to this projector?

    • @2.4inaVan
      @2.4inaVan  2 роки тому

      It has an HDMI input although the scaling doesn't work with that so you'd need to have the right distance.

    All I want to know is how to plug the projector to the TV...

      Hi there. This setup is separate to a TV. We don't have one on our van. The projector itself has apps like Netflix, Disney+, BBC iPlayer etc and projects the image on the piece of card that pulls down from the ceiling. I hope this helps explain better?

    Have you tested your Wi-Fi set up and the Google thingy in poor signal areas yet? I am looking for solutions to get the best off grid set up and your videos have been very helpful. Thanks

      Really useful summary and look forward to using it to remind me how things work when you're not there! Can you please do one on how to put the bed together 😂

    Thx for the video! I have 1 question. Can you still change the screensize if you mount it like this? I see it has a overlap at the sides, but can you make the image smaller and still mount it there or do you have to get the projector closer? Thx and greets from the Netherlands!

    • @2.4inaVan
      @2.4inaVan  2 роки тому +1

      Great question. If you use the projector on its own then you can use keystoning to adjust the size. If you plug something in with hdmi then with this model of projector the software doesn't allow it unfortunately.

      @@2.4inaVan in my case I would like to use it in my caravan but then instead of a TV. But outside the caravan I would like a bigger screen on the side of the caravan. Just for screen mirror Netflix to the Beamer. So you say I cab make the projection smaller inside and bigger outside, without moving the projector towards the screens or the other way around? 🤔

    • @2.4inaVan
      @2.4inaVan  2 роки тому +1

      @@joop6045 yes, but it is for fine tuning, rather than what you've described I think. You would probably need to have the projector further away to get the larger image outside

      I'm more scared to have a "too" big projection inside the caravan😕

    Question about the foam board : the sides on the outside > are these made of a kind of cardboard or a kind of plastic? It's a matter of buying the right material :-). The projector is unfortunately no longer available on the Amazon link, but an almost identical model (but different brand) is still for sale for +-300 Euros. Do you remember roughly how much yours one costed you ? This way I can compare whether it is expensive. Thanks in advance

    • @2.4inaVan
      @2.4inaVan  3 роки тому +1

      This is the foam board I bought from Hobbycraft: www.hobbycraft.co.uk/white-foam-board-a1/539724-1000. The layers on either side of the foam are card.
      I bought the Yaufey mini projector in Oct 2020 for £220. It may be available on other sites if it's no longer on Amazon.

      @@2.4inaVan My last question (I hope anyway :-/ ): are you satisfied with the quality of the projector : sound, image resolution 854 x 480, Android system (?), ... . Or are there other projectors you can recommend?

    • @2.4inaVan
      @2.4inaVan  3 роки тому

      @@MM-ul7sb Very pleased with it and we use it nearly every evening when we're on the van - either for the kids or ourselves. As an example you'll see us watching Eurovision with the kids on it when we went to Stonehenge here: ua-cam.com/video/h688xqt1Lqc/v-deo.html
