Reyt enjoyed that. Cheers chap
Thanks mate. Got lots more content from Germany to come as well which you'll hopefully like 👍
Very Interesting ride mate cheers
Thanks for the feedback. Got some good vids coming up from Germany in next few weeks as well
In the early 1990’s I used to do Sheffield to Koln in 12 hours 20 minutes by train,SeaCat, and train. Coming back was 2 hours longer as the return channel crossing was by traditional ship.
@@HATReviews Pleasure. I worked for Intercity Midland Mainline so my travel in the U.K. was free and once a year free in Germany, I had the equivalent of 4 free channel crossings per year. I also if I wasn’t using free passes reduced rate travel abroad, and on the ship/. I had to pay extra for the fast sea cat crossing. I think one can still do the trip in a day
Looking forward to seeing cologne in the next video😊
Was tempted to do this for the scotland game this Sunday 😂 moved to Sheffield from Scotland a few years ago and flights are very expensive
It's that age old price Vs time conundrum. Was a great trip. Wishing you luck tonight against the swiss
Thanks for doing the trip very interesting. 😊
No problem at all. Got an epic train ride from Cologne to Berlin coming up on the channel in a couple of weeks as well on Flix train which might be of interest :)
I once did a similar but not quite as far; Eindhoven to London by Flixbus. My bus went on le Shuttle but didn't call at Brussels and went to Antwerp instead.
I do London Düsseldorf quite often!! With Flixbus!
@@HATReviews the internet never works!!
Apart from that, the rest is okay.
@@HATReviews next month I'll do Paris-London, then London-Paris-Strasbourg, then Strasbourg-Dusseldorf, Dusseldorf-Hambourg-Coppenhagen, Coppenhagen-Aahrus-Coppenhagen and finally Coppenhagen-Paris...all with FlixBus, over 3 weeks!
Some travel ideas for you!
@@RegesCoffeeBreak oh they sound great. I'll definitely bear these in mind for future travels :)
I'm doing Paris to Barca in a few weeks. Don't suppose you noticed whether 1a had a table? Did it have more leg room? I've reserved 1a but I'm thinking of changing it 🤔
@@joberry5755 it didn't have a table but a chunky front bit with cup holders and somewhere you could put a laptop etc. Bit far away from you to say it was a table. Hopefully that very 'technical' explanation helps
Train is s better but more costly
It's that old conundrum cost vs time isn't it. Would love to do the same trip by rail in the future to compare
Hats off to you for doing this trip. It’s good to see the alternatives to flying.
Thanks for the feedback and no problem at all. I am going to put all the prices in a review video at the end of the trip (some great vids still to come) price for this coach trip though was £34.97 though which I thought was decent value
