Just watched this video again and noticed every time you switch presets, the velocity settings change and you have to set them all over again. They should update this to lock the settings you don't want changed.
I've been on the fence about this one because all of the video reviews I've seen so far only demo the presets and not the actual raw piano and it's settings. To me, this instrument focuses on the "room" it was recorded in and how the developer is able to create various atmospheres for this piano to fit different situations. But what does the piano sound like when the atmospheres are removed? How does this piano function in terms of controlling the pedal noises, release sample volume, sympathetic resonances, lid position, mechanical noises, note repeats, staccatos, silent strokes, etc.? All the rest seems to be the behind-the-scenes magic like compression, reverb settings, EQ, etc. all contained in a single plugin. One might be able to get close to these sounds with plugins in their DAW or 3rd party with most piano libraries on the market.
Bought it recently and I really like characterful tone and personally I find it more realistic that any of the NI pianos for sound (I’ve not tried noire yet). Some of the presets are a bit distorted though but most are just beautiful sounding. Great value library.
@@Pianology123 Unfortunately the instrument will not work with the free version of Kontakt. Look at their website. But for Kontakt users like me it’s a dream piano.

If you head into the back end of the instrument on those patches and find the limiter, you can adjust that and this will stop the distortion :)

you need a 300 dollar daw to run this vst. thats the reason why its cheap. im sad now
It can be run without a daw, just need kontakt player which is free, u run piano without a daw all the time for live playing
