I doubt very much that the installment of the pulley on the shaft by means of loctite is a safe solution. I think that a new pulley must be attached by means of heating it and then inserting it on the shaft
I hear you, but the fix has lasted 2 years so far and still OK. I have a new unit on board as a replacement for when the repaired unit eventually fails.

My steering handle is backwards.I guess it was made that way, so u can do fishing from the back of the boat and be able to steer it while there, So if I install a raymarine, my boat will wanna steer the opposite direction of what raymarine is trying to turn. Do you have any idea if there is a setting or adjustment for that?

I opened mine and the gear was broken, not sure where to find a replacement gear and don't know if glue will hold together
