I’m gonna add it to my Audible list asap! I’d love to hear a podcast with you doing a deep dive into the books written by Dick Winters. Maybe comparing/contrasting the leadership skills from then to your era of service…
Great stuff and definitely hitting up my library. When you mentioned the fear caused by archers on the battlefield, I immediately thought about rifled long guns and their impact at the Battle of New Orleans, the Revolution and snipers on more recent battlefields. History repeating itself.
Thanks for the recommendations on books to read. I just finished reading Jack Carr's latest book and now going to decide what's going to be the next book to read and quite possibly Agincourt.
I’m in the middle of a civil war book called “Battle Cry of Freedom” by James M McPherson. What an amazing insight to the events and economic disparities between North and South and why Americans would face each other in bloody battles. It’s a good read if you are a civil war buff. I’m going to definitely check out the books you reviewed!

Cornwall also wrote the Sharpe series about the Peninsular war between Napoleon and England in Spain. Very good writing about historical fiction.
Bought Baker’s and Cornwell’s books at your suggestion and am halfway through Cornwell’s. Love it!
Great book review, thanks!
Love your videos Kyle I watch them all
