You can also separate staples by using the stapler. Open it up so its not going to hit the bottom plate and push the stapler. It will go flying if you don't aim somewhere close by.
I hope you enjoy this turotial showing how I print my PDF into A5 Booklet. Another easy to follow “how to” tutorial. I always struggle with printing, I love that you showed each step, including which way to put the paper back in the printer. Thanks for sharing 💕💕💕
When printing a special notebook, do you use regular copy paper or a thicker paper? I'm in the planning stages of 2024 reading journal and thinking of using a thicker paper since I'll be adding sticker of the book I've read as well as detailed information about the book. Also, I'm planning on printing a diabetic glucose record log & food diary, and I feel regular copy paper may not withstand the daily multiple use of the booklets. I saved this video for future reference as it is detailed and easy to follow. 😊. Thank you.
I use 160gsm weighted paper for my planner pages that way I don’t have to worry about bleed through or ghosting, especially when I use the color dot markers which is quite inky
Thank you for your expert advice. I am a huge fan of your channel and content. I have been using a planner since the 80s. The Dayrunner was my 1st planner. I bought it after watching the movie Working Girl. I lightly use embellishments. I mostly color code been doing so since my boys were born, now 30 & 26. Now, I use Google calendar with reminders, but a physical paper planner is my must. 😊
@vickieposton6115 yes, me too! I “need” to write it down. I use digital for alarm reminders or Google calendar as back up, but pen to paper all the way 😊
Great tutorial, Mariane! Your printer looks like it can print duplex. You could save one step and print both front and back in a printing. I assume you didn't do that, because some printers don't have that option. It still saves time, because I've been doing that for years. It's great to watch and listen to you🤗
It's more my computer that I was unable to do the booklet printing I think. But this is a good way for other to use a free program is they too don't have the option to do the booklet printing on their computer. So glad you can stop by 😊
@@MarianeCrespthanks for the quick reply 😉 I think the duplex print is still possible with the program you show. I know, it says 14 pages, but that is the view of how the printed version will look like, not the actual count of pages. You can try it with scrap paper, if you like. I also save the duplex print job as a pdf, with the booklet setup, if that helps, because my program cannot do that in one step. I hope it works with duplex printing, because i know how fun it is to print booklets ☺️
is there another option for the "scaling" feature? i do not have it on my end and wanted to maximize the space on the bond paper. thank you
You can also screen shot the page or save it as an image and then resize to desired size

I know some staplers have the bit at the bottom that helps remove staples, my small standard one didn’t have it
