I got the 3 piece fixed head set right after they came out. I use them in the (professional) industrial setting. I've had zero issues with them. The length comes in very handy, and the slim head design has bailed me out of many sticky situations. Capri makes VERY solid tools , and I've tried to spread the word to anyone that will listen :)

I like how that Lock works on these. My go to ratchets are usually Gearwrench 84 tooth, but every Capri Tool I have is outstanding. This Locking mech could sway me over to a Capri!

I’ve purchased the Capri Tools nano impacts and I love them. I’ve only needed them twice over the last couple of months but those were the ONLY tools I had that would fit! Thanks Capri Tools!

Snagged these as soon as I saw the ad pop up on facebook and they came in a couple weeks ago, they are fantastic ratchets for the price. Smooth as butter and my favorite locking mechanism type, I feel like it's the easiest to use.

I'm an aircraft mechanic and we primarily use 1/4" stuff. The longest ratchet I have is only 7". That 12" flex is nice. Need to check that one out.

I should have mentioned this in my first comment. I have a 2001 Nissan Frontier XE that needs a new ABS Actuator. My ABS brake light is on. I tried my local dealer, no luck. Tried calling some parts stores, again no luck. Would you know of someone who might be able to help me. Again thank you 👌

Congrats on the 50k! I've been a viewer for a few years now. All people talk about is Snap-On this and that, it's nice to hear about other brands, and I think Capri makes some really good quality stuff. I have a couple of their ratchets, a lot of their impact sockets, some universal sockets, and recently their wobble plus extensions. Yes they have wobble plus extensions just like Snap-On. I've been happy with their tools and see no reason why DIY'ers and pros couldn't use them daily.

I Really enjoy the content and seeing new tools. Those ratchets are really nice but I can't remember when I've ever needed a 1/4 ratchet that long

This set has been tempting me, I just wish they had them with a regular hard handle. I might just have to suck it up and try to not tear up the comfort grips 😂. I NEED a long 1/2" like that, the others would probably just be added to the "look at" collection

I like the design of the old Capri ratchets.

I got the newer Gearwrench 120 set. It is buttery smooth and they (except for the stubby) are all extended reach.

I have been loyal to Snap-On for many years. I have the Snappy 1/2" and the 3/8" versions. They are my favorite ratchets. I have had the 1/2" for over 15 years. It is wonderful. They are pricey. I retired 8 years ago, and I am beginning to reconsider that I don't always need the Snappy quality. I am following folk like you and Jeff at Garage Adventures. I took the Capri plunge, expecting my first delivery today. I purchased the long reverse ratcheting SAE combination wrench set. I am anxious to see if they REALLY don't disappoint. I have had the Snappy metric version for 10+ years, and I just haven't justified the Snappy price in retirement. The matte finish concerns me, but the price is attractive, and some professionals are supportive of the brand.
I completely understand your situation and I think you will be very impressed with the quality, especially for the price. I'm excited for you to get them as well. Thank you for your support!! Let me know your thoughts.
@TonyTheTechnician USPS added 3 extra days to get the delivery. Comparison against two Snap-on series, old script series and current style shows lots of similarities. Snap-on length has grown over the years, and Capri is slightly longer than both. This is a pleasing feature.
The box and open end size is very similar to Snap-on. The beam is very similar to the script Snap-on, which fits my hand very nicely. I like this shape better than the new Snap-on. The matte finish feels very smooth. It isn't as pretty as polished chrome, but I think that I like it. The Capri version of flank drive plus looks fine. I don't think that I like this feature all that much, but I have smooth jaws and flank drive plus on various sets of my Snap-on sets. The Capri V root on the open end has a hint of curve suggesting an attempt to provide a flank drive function. The box end copies the flank drive design that virtually every quality maker employs.
The reversing ratchet functions are smooth with little back drag except the 5/16. It isn't bad, but is a wee bit gritty. I will probably treat with ATF. My Snap-on metric version set is very similar to the Capri set, but I learned today that Snap-on has added serviceable ratchet feature requiring them to alter the head shape, thinner but longer.
The foam case is nice and is probably compact enough for me to employ it in my toolchest.
Use will confirm my favorable first impressions. I took the tools to church this morning to show to my fellow Snap-on loyalists. None were previously aware of Capri tools, and gave cautious approval. The Capri price really tips the scale favorably.
I am cautious about the many new alternative tool brands. Availability, selection, and long-term support are concerning to me. Snap-on product selection is extremely large, which I value. They also tend to maintain legacy styles longer than the newer brands, even after new model introductions.
Summary...
I like the Capri tools. I intend to keep them.
I have the 1/4 XL non flex. It was handy trying to work on a VW.

I have the 26" mac axis flex and had the 18" mac locking 3/8 (just got rid of it) and if I can manage to sell the mac I'm going to use the money to buy this Capri set. The Mac ratchets are garbage and I can't believe I spent almost $700 on them. Should have gone with snap on, but again it's almost $400 just for the 1/2"

How do the capri ratchets compare to other ratchets? Been curious.
So far they have been amazing. Very smooth, very stout. Haven't had any issues with any of my capri ratchets and they feel amazing. I'll have future videos with them as well

I got the 1/4" and it was doa. They were easy to deal with but it's been over a month since placing my order and I still don't have a working ratchet. I've been happy with all the other Capri tools I have but unfortunately I won't be looking at them as a go to anymore
