Yep ! No need for bipolar conversion : leave the end wired in BYJ motors, switch the other two. Insert into the CNC shield 4 pins and works great from g coder sender. Good torque under 12v . make sure you set the current limit Vref value to 0.08 in stepper driver potentiometer; the motor handles 1mA at 5V. Did this for my robot arm
