Pretty much summarized my thoughts about the game as well. Good video overall. This game can be improved more and if it does gain certain level of success maybe they will think about remastering the old game as well one day hopefully.
Damn, I came back to this for the nastolgia, hoping I could replay my old childhood game. I remember grinding the hell outta this game and watching thousands of ads to get gaia cash and roll for my favorite exotic and to my luck, I actually got Archeon! Then they removed it from gaia online and I got extremely depressed, losing all my progress. I come back now and its like nothing as it was before. Im sure anyone who has played this game would want the original to come back. A rpg, pokemon like capture and battle system, story game, where it had a difficult capture rate for stronger or unique monsters, A unique world to explore and travel with different unique monster in each region, and cummunity events where we could obtain powerful monster or be involved with game development. Now its an idle rpg no one cares about. Im sure money and time probably was an issue but why change the game completely into something most dont want anymore and alienate your fan base that could be potential customers. I can see the game being very successful if it was like its original and had a new, developed, engaging, and epic story that people would come back to read and the old challenging and addicting pokemon like battle system, your own moga farm where you could see what you or your friends captured and evolve them if you got enough, a currency system that isnt pay to win or play but more of a way to get players more of what they like without it affecting how it could give players advantages. Give free to play players a chance to gain that currency through hard earned events where as your mogas get stronger, your rank is higher, as well as your reward. If brought to steam too, since steam decks are popular. My god this game would skyrocket.
From hours of grinding and capturing the rarest mogad to an idle gacha game... is it that hard to just revive the old game? If their concern was monetization, I'd say the old game was tough enough to beckon people to pay money- but it wasn't impossible to catch legendaries by yourself Saddened by its current state, but maybe one day we'll get extremely devoted fans who are able to make a rewritten version to play, idk

I’m so happy that Monster Galaxy is back, it’s sad that they changed the catching mechanic, and it’s going to be a grind but will still play it !
