Hello Claudia, I just wanted to ask a question about the picture quality of the book cover. After printing does the picture quality of the book cover got reduced or enhanced or remain as it is. Please let me know so that I adjust the color accordingly. I am confused about it. Please help.
yes, you are, as long as those graphics do not include trademarks. For example, if you search "Coca Cola" on elements, you'll get as one of the first results a PRO graphic, which is an exact replica of the Coca Cola logo. Also, there are 1,000 and 1,000 of books out there on Amazon. What is the best strategy for getting your book seen on KDP/Amazon? What if your book is on page 62?!. Keywords, categories?? thank you
It's about finding the right kw and niche. If you want to rank in the first page of a kw with 1000+ results, you NEED money for advertisement to boost your sales. No shortcuts there. If you work on less competitive niches, with kws that have less than 1000 results, you can rank in the top 10 with no ads, just a high quality cover, title, subtitle, and description. I'll make videos on this topic
Thank you very much! very clear and structured tutorial. Right to the point with no confusion! Just a quick question, Can you really earn a proper income with creating low or no content books? and how many books you should create to have lets say something around 3000 dollars per month. I don't expect to have an exact number but just some estimations of number of books would be enough. Thanks
@@mania7927 1. Less than 1 month from the publishing date of that single book. 2. no ads, no reviews, all organic traffic. It's an exception, but it can happen.
@@PodHustle this is surely an exception and we are not talking about exceptions. What about your other low content books in general? What is the overall results of those? From what i see it looks like kdp is too saturated. I Ctually don't believe that it does really work.
I could show you numbers and numbers, and you still would find reasons why it wouldn’t work for you. My advice is go find a business that you like, believe in, suits your skills and start with the right mindset. Good luck.
Thank you SO much for this video! It was so helpful. I do have one issue. My template is still too small when I try to grab it from the corner in Canva. It doesn’t completely fill the template no matter what I do. I used the same dimensions as you in bookow. Any pointers?? 🙏🏽❤️
Hey, in my video I use the KDP template from the KDP website, if you use a different tool and get a different result, the answer can only be “the problem is Bookow”. Their template isn’t in the right dimensions.
Aloha Claudia! Your tutorial is awesome. So simple. So easy to follow. I've watched many which I find confusing or the instructor is using difficult aps with a long learning curve. Canva seems simple and user friendly. One thing: I converted my PNG to JPEG...it still didn't work. Suggestions? Thanks again!!!
@@PodHustle Thanks! Sometimes that works. Sometimes not. I also realize that there are times when I reduced size but failed to save as PNG or other. My bad. Learning curve is getting better though. Lol
Many Thanks for the video, I would to ask you a question if I may...I just want to be sure, If I download a picture from pixabay, that is for commercial use and no tribute is needed, can I use that picture for a book cover for example? even if it is a hole picture?
hey vered, you can use pictures or vector from pixabay as you wish, as long as there is no attriution required (and that you can easily read aside of the picture, once you have clicked on it). 99% of the time it's free to use, with no attribution required. So yes, in that 99% of the time, you can use it even if it's just a simple picture on the cover. you can read the pixabay license here (very simple indeed, with a few exceptions and no ambiguity) pixabay.com/it/service/license/ Please be careful and always check the license on each resource you intend to use. THanks for watching the video. Have a great day!

Make a few different covers and spamming are two different things. You can do low content books without getting in trouble.
How many times can I say thank you? Surely not enough. Thank you
Ahaha, thanks for your support and kind words leonora!
Thanks
I was able to make m more than 3000 usd in one month with one book (low content). Does that answer the question?
@@PodHustle how long after creation you achieved 3k us dolalrs? And did you make paid advertising?
@@PodHustle Thank you. 🙏🏽❤️
Amazing! So clear and straight to the point, thank you!
Thank you so much . You make it so easy .
Thank you..but after creating the cover and interior what's next?
Upload it on kdp. I’ll make videos about it.
@@PodHustle okay...thank you..will be waiting for the video..
Thanks again!!!
now you can import the PDF that KDP gives you in Canva, without needing to convert it
@@PodHustle Thanks! Sometimes that works. Sometimes not. I also realize that there are times when I reduced size but failed to save as PNG or other. My bad. Learning curve is getting better though. Lol
Thank you very much!
Thank you for your help! Are you on Instagram or any Facebook groups?

Many Thanks for the video, I would to ask you a question if I may...I just want to be sure, If I download a picture from pixabay, that is for commercial use and no tribute is needed, can I use that picture for a book cover for example? even if it is a hole picture?
hey vered, you can use pictures or vector from pixabay as you wish, as long as there is no attriution required (and that you can easily read aside of the picture, once you have clicked on it). 99% of the time it's free to use, with no attribution required. So yes, in that 99% of the time, you can use it even if it's just a simple picture on the cover.
you can read the pixabay license here (very simple indeed, with a few exceptions and no ambiguity)
pixabay.com/it/service/license/
Please be careful and always check the license on each resource you intend to use.
THanks for watching the video. Have a great day!
@@PodHustle Thank you very very much, You have no I idea how much this information helped me... I found a picture that it says free for commercial use and no attribution required and I didn't now if I can use it {hole of it} as the book cover, so again Thank you, you are awesome!!
@@veredpedersen4292 you're safe then! 😃
This video was so helpful, thank you!
I love your video!!!!
thank you!!!
Mam please reply!!
Should I fix same size for cover as well as for interior??e.g :-6/9 for both cover and interior?
Yes, if you set up an 6x9 interior, go for the 6x9 cover
Thank you for showing the template margines because it is not clearly explained on the Amazon website and on the png template. Can you use a photograph that you took with your camera or downloaded from free image places instead of a graphic?
Yes you can. If it’s not yours (taken by you), make sure you can use it for commercial purposes.
@@PodHustle Thank you.
Do you just upload the book cover separately from the body of the notebook? On kdp
Yes, when you upload it on kdp, there’s a button for uploading the interior (pages) and one for the cover file.
Please excuse my ignorance but why the bleed is calculated only once for the height? What am I missing here? Thanks in advance.
Good question, no need to apologize.
0.25 inches is 0.125 on the upper side + 0.125 on the lower side (so technically it's 0.125x2).
