I hope this group stays together for a long time and gets a lot of sucess! It seems like Jpop (as in the genre POP not Japanese popular music) groups made in Japan that aren't all cutesy and singing happy anisongs (anisongs= anime songs. Yes it's a genre.) they either don't last long, don't get a lot of sucess or both. Examples of this: SDN48, Foxxi Misq. Notice how I said: Made in Japan, so I'm not counting K-pop groups that have come to Japan to release songs.

Music notes are finite, so it's no surprise to me when I hear part of a song sounding like another. There's a LIMITED number of music notes and combinations. I like GEM because they're not all cutesy, not because I'm a K-pop fan that came here to hate. I do like K-pop also but I also listen to Thai-pop, French, German, Russian, Balkan, Mando/Canto, Vietnamese, U.S etc.
This songs reminds me of one of SNSD songs. Similar sounds. Maybe it's because of the way they sing in this too, especially when they sang in English, sounds like Tiffany's voice.
