I have seen a couple NC50s using #400...I have been soo confused, don't know which one to pick (I am nowhere near a Sephora so must make an educated guess). I am an NC50 as well and this review has been so helpful.

The 400 seemed to look ok but you know how MAC Shades are, they tend to cover a number of nuances in skintone under one Shade Number. Maybe if we all list which other Foundations are our perfect/near perfect Shades maybe we can help each other pick which Fenty Shade is best...for instance,if someone went and bought a Fenty and was satified, then they could list which other Foundations they wear for others to try to pinpoint the Fenty Shade they need...idk I watched C Key and Limitless bwl and they are both NC50s and they were wearing 400. Idk, maybe the 400s/410s are the lighter end of NC50.....? Hunty, search me, I havent any idea, lol. My "perfect Shade" Foundations are Nyx Total Control Drop in #17 Cappuccino, Milani 2 in 1 in #13 Chestnut and MAC Studio Fix in NC50. So far, Kellster seems to be the very closest to my Skintone.
A Heimdahl Kellster is closer to my tone also. l guess I'll have to go back a few different shades until I get one that looks best. I usually stick to Mac NC50 but I've also worn Becca in Sienna & Estée Lauder in Truffle which was a perfect match to my skin. I'll have to look at the videos you mentioned to see which is best. But I'm thinking I'm gonna go with the shade she had in this video.
It is very strange to see that alot of people with different Mac shades can wear this shade... I wonder if it is because this foundation blends really well and is more of a watery consistency. But its GREAT that it fits so many people :) :)

I got a 440 . I'm about your completion with red under tones . 420 is very close . 440 oxidized and I felt it was a tad too dark compared to my chest in natural light . I may go back and exchange .
Yes the foundation does get darker after about 5 to 10 minutes of wearing it.. But on Rihanna's instagram she said its not oxidizing but it darken because of how it fast it dries ... which seems the same as oxidizing but shrugs lol
I just got my match a couple days ago and I'm so glad to see someone do a tutorial...think I'm going to invest in a good foundation brush....thanksss kellster

Did it oxidize? It seemed too orange for you initially and i suspect you may need more of a neutral or yellow undertone but to the end it seemed orange brown
Soooo Rihanna's Fenty team put out an Insta-snap the other day saying it doesn't Oxidize.... But it does get a little darker after it dries down completely. I personally really like the shade I chose, I think it looked really great but I do usually go for a more yellow undertone for foundation.
Thank you. Watching this video has convinced me to purchase the matchsticks. I tried it out in Sephora and loved the highlight and contour, but the suede color turned me off. I did not like under my eyes, but you showed how to use it other places. I am very particular about what I place under my eyes. Thx again :-)

So... I got matched again. This time by a poc and was matched as 390. The 420 was still cute though! lol
