It is very synchronistic that your video was on my suggested and you say here in your description that you are going all-in on becoming your true artistic self. That is exactly what I have recently intended (bout round the same time as all of this eclipse energy is beaming onto us! :)). After spending the last couple years in the deep deep trenches of healing and discovering myself, I am now sensing the inner prompting to shift gears and recalibrate/integrate this new and improved self as I learn to really go ALL-IN on my self with a love, appreciation and compassion that I never knew I could hold for myself. So much has changed in my life since then and I've been on sort of a different journey where I've had to put myself aside for a while and I'm now, finally in a place where I can get back to this particular aspect of my evolution. HA! It's crazy how quickly spaces become. Just a catch-all for our messes. Before we know it, we can't even get in there! You can do it, just get started and the rest will fall into place. Yay!

The most painful thing I did was culling supplies that I didn't use anymore. Letting go of the dream that I would eventually used them. The payoff was splendid, though, because I then had space to keep what I used most often in easy reach.
Oh man, you know that's the next step....it's so hard for us creative-types to get rid of art supplies.....and, you're right, it all boils down to admitting to ourselves that we're actually NOT going to follow-through on that idea-at least not anytime soon-and thats a tough thing to do.
@@saraivy Yep. It's been years since I got rid of a ton of scrapbooking supplies that I planned to use in collages. I found them on Craigs list when people were abandoning their hobby. I did hold on to a few that I'm thrilled with, now that i'm making collages again - small cutting mat with a handy dandy grid; a mat that glue doesn't stick to, a small, lightweight, manageable paper cutter, and a couple of stamps with designs that make great backgrounds. But that was 8 years of space I freed up.

I remember that place my parents took us there when we were young back in the 70s, it’s funny because my husband and I were talking about it and how fun it was ……thanks for sharing 😁
Oh my gosh what a fun coincidence! I ha really fond memories of it, too. I'm super sad about what it's turned into ( a kinda trashy amusement park) and I wish they would take the animals somewhere else, but ah well, I will remember the good old days ❤
Guess I'm cool! My Grandma took us to Marine World many times in the late 60's/early 70's. Love your space! Your Uber talented husband could make an added worktop for you by installing a narrow half round on your kitchen wall below the opening, that could flip up with a brace or fold down when you don't need it... Your daughter is darling!
Hahaha!! Yes I have moved... Twice! And I miss that little space. I'm looking forward to the new space I create in our future home 😊. Your table idea is great, and we actually discussed it way back when, but never got around to it. And hell yeah to Bay Area natives!!!
Thank you! I have been slowly audiobooking them and I'm in the early part of Dragonfly in Amber. I'm hoping someday I'll be in a place in my life where I can sit down and read the actual physical book, but until then I will listen to it. I am actually part of an Outlander fan group, and I need to catch up 🤣. Have you read all of them?
Ok, so first thing I did was move it out of the space. I ended up putting everything into the living room and over the course of the week, I sat there and slowly sorted through everything. Some of it was just garbage, some of it actually had places to go and was returned to their homes within within house, some got donated,, some of it got consolidated into bags to be sorted-through, later. It was a process and it actually took longer to get through that than it did to finish the space. You can do it! Just take your time and keep at it
