      With a bass player like this, you don’t need percussion, unless the song really calls for it.

      @@corkscrew4585 La version originale est sur un disque Barclay d'octobre 1955 (avec Dick Twardzik, Jimmy Bond et Pete Litlman). Sorti de mémoire sous le nom "The Chet Baker" puis republié (c'est sous ce nom que je l'ai en lp) sous le nom "Chet in Paris". Ici au piano, c'est Michel "Mickey" Grailler et à la contrebasse Jean-Louis Rassinfosse.

    what a pity that this marvellous film, testimony to a great artist at the height of his expressiveness, is so out of sync with the audio...
    could someone who knows more about video editing restore it and give it the dignity it deserves for the history of jazz? it would be a beautiful gesture of love for Chet.

      Never had one, but it fits the video perfectly and the kind of movie that Louis Malle would produce in his days.
      I miss the memories of Paris when it was smoky as a child, i remember it as a cool place to visit, people were a lot more chill in the 90s.
