2019 STILL LISTENING ✝️
SAD WALK!
No trumpet player can move like Baker. 😢
Tears in my eyes!!!
Beautiful Melody!! Thanks Chet!!!
That's the good stuff
The removal of the drums adds to the whole feel of the song, ya know?
These sessions are for those who understand Jazz so well that they have rhythm in their soul
And its a bit slower from his original "sad walk" from the 70s
That's a great observation. You're absolutely right!
With a bass player like this, you don’t need percussion, unless the song really calls for it.
Thanks
Wonderful.
Loving this! ❤️👏
So beautiful .............the heroin had ravaged him by 85 yet he could still play so wonderfully

what a pity that this marvellous film, testimony to a great artist at the height of his expressiveness, is so out of sync with the audio...
could someone who knows more about video editing restore it and give it the dignity it deserves for the history of jazz? it would be a beautiful gesture of love for Chet.
