It seemed to me like your struggle was with building military mass, you were never near your pop-max. I love these FFA games!
How NOT to play OOTD
*spawns next to Abbasid
*makes pure knights
*pauses production for 585474779 minutes
OOTD has the best infrantry and ranged units in the game, so you need to use it !
Cavalry is rarely the way to go. Your ranged units will deal the most damage.
The best comp is MMA + Archers, especially with the special archer and MMA upgrade. 30 archers would have destroyed crossbows immediately.
The most insane unit is the handcanonneer, it can mow down pretty much anything. When you reach imperial you need to spam them with spears. The goal is to have a mixed infrantry army and to make it even bigger with your high pop cap. But without ranged units you're going to loose.
At 26 when you get attacked, the handcanoneers even 10 would have destroyed everything. In OOTD mirrors infantry fights, handcanoneers are even better because they don't overkill and they fire super fast.
As a regular viewer who's much worse at the game I think you're being too passive and indecisive lately.

Aussie, if the person quits the game or exist the game, it will say they were eliminated. And the king is still on the map. Anytime some shows as eliminated and you dont see the pop increase for someone. Then assume the king is on the map

Watching u watch the plaers around you do things and taking 5 minutes before deciding to do something about it, like taking purple relic showing him your knights and not preparing for camels or crossbows or spears until he was already at your door building rams, then he built those rams and you didnt get anti siege until he got a springald, getting a treb with some spears to protect it and sieging all his stuff down while u use knights in his base to ransack his economy was the play. Then building elzbach so far behind ur base it wasnt doing much there either... too much sitting and waiting
You also went meinwork and didnt go for any of the units it actually boosts like maa AND didnt even use its cheap early advantage and snipe someone in feudal, if you arent atleast doing one of those things just go aachan for the farming boost + whatever else you get around it
Orange had a good spot to choose and play more aggresively
No wall challenge and hardly any defence with OOTD in middle of the map with so many neighbours not fun to watch.
The player list on the right side of the screen where it show the players "age" should be 0 until their town center comes up. imo
Hey drongo , it's not about the spawn , I m n00b but I only played HRE from the start of the game and I can see you don't understand the importance of outpost positioning and the cannon tower , since most of the time you rush castle you need something that can make you survive and that's the outpost
For me the mistake was around Min 10:00 when you were aging up , u had around 250 wood and didn't spend it when you could have build an outpost near purple to control the hill , anyway if you go for relic is better to put into outpost and need 1 vill on stone
Try to wait , it's better upgrade to cannon because of the splash dmg that can really stop an enemy push especially if ou put your 4 towers with relics where they can all have each other in range somewhat close to each other like they from a square perimeter on your base but sill if one gets attacked the other are close enough to shoot the enemy
Also could have built stable before so when u age up u start making knights
Since you asked for advice, I would suggest making more vills early on, up to like 100, with two tcs, and making crossbows w/ knights, they are very powerful :D
Why didnt he make his towers closer to the palace? they did nothing all the way back there. And even if they did make it back there hes probably dead already
feels like as this civ u have to go 3-4 tc after castle if u find some space especially if u get a kill... Ottd army feels weak on ffa cuz its much slower to units out. probably try more siege less units till u have production for mass units??
Also is there a "cycle through selected units" 1 by 1 ? ? does any1 know? kinda wanna see if there's a way to avoid clicking on each spring/ bombard and do i with hotkey..
OOTD is so hard to get rolling the units cost so much one bad fight it’s rip
Close prox spawns, go for early kills like you're doing a feudal age challenge. Then boom your economy. Just a suggestion mate

Just focus on getting max pop as fast as possible. Nothing else matters. I am a conqueror rank too
One way to get OOTD going is to go for fast imp and then spam knights to snipe out kings, but it's an all in play..
Be more attentive to the housing and pop, you always seem to be pop blocked
Great fan of your multiplayer aoe game. I don't have hardware which plays AOE4. When earlier I played AOE2 and AOM. Daily I am waiting for your FFA game
Go middle fast imp super turtle or go find safer spot you chose terrible cage-match spawn and stayed castle too long.

My suggestion is to stop going for relics. This game was over before relics even mattered. Just go for the two nearby relics and call it good. And you did not need to go for purples relic lol. play your game based on the players nearby and your half of the map.
I get your OOTD and have quality, now this might be my China brain speaking. Why didn’t you wohlolo orange or teal when their units were neutral?
I think they made wololo not work or something weird in ffa for neutral? I thought I tried it and it didnt work one time but I may be wrong

Hey Drongo, why you didn't converte the villagers from the guy that you got a free king kill from?
I think that those free villagers would have been a super nice boost to your economy
there was like over 20 villagers to be had for free
afaik you can't convert neutrals. you can only scout their surviving sheep. and of course kill the king. also if you're mongol you can earn loot by razing buildings
i think that was a change with the ffa introduction... can no longer convert neutral units (kinda hoped they'd just after the player dies cuz its kinda shit they block walls, buildings etc)

Also 300 food wasted on scouts then losing all the sheep later anyways from not watching ur scout. Also hurt to watch, ootd is just rush castle nothing else, and if u do eco u dont waste time and food on 3 scouts ur not rus. The scouting info u didnt do anything with it and let ur opponents decide when to start fights

Might I recommend to you a new FFA challenge? I would like to see some sort of Raid Bounty thing, maybe once you hit feudal or something you can only get gold from raid bounty. IDK you know what entertains people
nomad mega is my fav .. played and won a 4 hour game last night lol .. using that 300 pop and more ores people can turle in and takes some real micro ti finally root them out lol
I have downvoted it as well and same situation... I would say you build too much fishing ships. They idled a lot. 3 each deep sea not more? I mean you could safe 4 ships, 300 wood and spent this ressources into another things. Maybe earlier transition or whatever
