    I've gone from a 2002 Silverado, to a 2022 Frontier with all the bells and whistles. There's so much stuff now 😮. I feel like I've gone back to school.

    Excellent. Just bought a 2024. Just slow down a little bit so people like me that are in their '60s can understand exactly what's going on ❤️

    Good video, so thanks…. I have exactly the same vehicle. You did make one error however… what you said what the water temp. gauge is actually the transmission fluid temperature gauge.

      It's kind of useless anyway since it doesn't display any actual values. Seems odd since they went to the trouble of installing sensors but don't provide useful detail.

    • @dsteffler54
      @dsteffler54 Рік тому +2

      @@dlg5485 I think it's still useful because I know what the normal position on the gauge is after the warm up time... if it became unusually high, I would know.

    💩 I wish there was a way to turn the driving lights off on the lower part of the bumper when you’re parked with your engine running they are always on. I wish there was a way to turn them off. I’m thinking about disconnecting those lights removing the plug. Don’t see a switch on my truck to be able to turn them completely off. 💩

      Lock for the headlight relay, buy I electric switch in Nissan Dealer (around $ 20.00), install the switch in the free spot on the left side, run two cable to the switch and jump the power to the switch. Around the 3 hrs job, if you want to like professional

    Cruise control is the worst I have experienced. Otherwise I love the truck.

    • @netcruzer
      @netcruzer  9 місяців тому

      The cruise is awful for hills, way too crazy at downshifting 5 gears to gain 1 MPH. I've found you an just apply light throttle pressure when climbing using cruise, it'll avoid all the transmission drops and revving and just slowly get back up to speed, add throttle before the cruise kickdowns happens then let off when up to set speed. That's how it should be tuned but no luck at an update yet

    Will the truck automatically lock the doors if the engine is off and you leave the vehicle and walk away or do you have to manually lock the doors?

    • @netcruzer
      @netcruzer  7 місяців тому

      I’ve not tested that. I always press the lock when walking away (on handle or key fob). However, If you unlock, and don’t open a door within 30 seconds or so, it will relock.

    I didn't know the Pro4x had driver alertness monitoring, unless it's just a Canadian thing (I'm in the US). My Subaru Outback has a similar system and I really like it because I work nights and often drive home exhausted. I'm picking up my 2023 Pro4x tomorrow (my 3rd Frontier) and I'm pretty excited to have a truck again.

      I’m not sure what it looks for as it doesn’t have an eye tracker, seems to be based on steering or throttle inputs. It seems to tell me “take a break?” during long hwy stretches, not when im driving tired.

    • @dlg5485
      @dlg5485 Рік тому

      @@netcruzerAccording to the manual it's just monitoring driver inputs, which is certainly less advanced that Subaru's system, but it should provide some security on those long late night drives.

    I have this vehicle. All these functions are junk. Very glitchy. Especially the locking mechanisms. Won't lock or unlock at times. Save your money buy an American car

    • @netcruzer
      @netcruzer  Рік тому +2

      If you are having locking issues make sure your door physical locking toggle rocker on the door card isn’t halfway between lock and unlock. If that is not all the way open or closed it causes problems with the electronic lock actuators. Once I figured that out my remote locking has been reliable. That rocker is totally redundant and I see no need for it.
