@@makarevychYeah better going plasma for no setup time as you will usually have to run to get out of Necron Lord ability. Then push plasma advantage to try and wipe some necron warriors. Also Plasma do win in one area over HB which is against Commander Armour so helps taking out pesky Necron Lord. SM should have got vehicles as well as had so much power. Should have got Hellfire for infantry disruption to make most of power surplus, then preds etc.
Enjoying these so far. It'd be nice if you could go more indepth in regards to the reasoning behind decisions, and also if they're seemingly good or bad decisions. The comments here pointed out that going infantry with heavy bolters was a mistake for example. You did it with the Necron deciding to place down 4 plasma generators, but yeah.
Going for 3 SM squads early but not pressuring to get squad wipe on necron warriors squads. If you don’t get any NW wipes, then necrons can get out too many squads. Pressure relies on forcing monolith to have to rebuild warriors squads to stop losing infantry battle. Edit: And obviously once SM win the early infantry battle, SM should push to do economy damage and destroy generators.
SM player was absolutely terrible. No plasmas, no harassment, no vehicles. Half the match he was just sitting around letting the Necrons mass up when he could've pressed the advantage. A great example of what to NOT do
Are these taken from official steam servers? Such low population and toxic players there. Would love to play. BTW seeing so much SM squad getting tied up by slow moving flayed ones left me with a facepalm.
Should only resurrect with half health. Unless you mean rebuilt as in Necron Lord and Tomb spyders. Marines with plasma, frags if you need some early disruption, hellfire dreads for later infantry disruption and general tankiness. Force commander needed for dealing with lord. Usually set FC to ranged for greater DPS (no DPS while chasing an enemy to engage in melee)
I would say that the Space Marine player was rather foolish not to harass the Necrons more in the early game section, Necrons got nerfed hard from Dark Crusade to where a 1v1 match is practically a give me for whoever's NOT the Necrons.
space marines should try and go for plasma based weaponry more often as necron melt quickly than heavy bolters fire
Heavy bolter and plasma have almost the same DPS against heavy infantry. But heavy bolter has better range. But you need a second to set it up.

What resolution are you running this on?
Looks to me like the SM player plays his army more in the IG manners.
It looked like my typical SM experience in this matchup in vanilla version. :D

Some games are from DoW Online servers, some are from steam. Thankfully there are enough pleasant players who play the game still :)
@@MrLandshark I love watching you and Indrid. Keep up the good work man DoW SS has plenty left to give!
How are you guys playing this in multiplayer? I can't find anyone to play with
If you join the discords (link in description) there's tons of resources to help you get playing online with people :)
i have trouble to fight against Necrons in campaign, because they are resurrect over and over where they are died with full health, any solution?
