Taka is such a great lead singer. Please check this song live. It is soooo good. Also check "Take what you want" live. It is a slow song but so full of feelings. And if you really want candy for your ears check their live orchestra series of songs. My favorite is "I was king" and "Fight the night" You are absolutely right their material is extensive. I hope that you continue liking their music. I can't complain because I got to see them in a small venue, but I agree that they should be much bigger in the USA and the world. ❤❤
Following you on your OOR journey and been enjoying them. But Might Long Fall is definitely better live (yokohama stadium), the outro in that version is just fire
Really hope you watch their live version of we are from the dome tour (70k ppl in the audience) It is the way everyone should meet one ok rock. Regarding this song in particular, like everyone said, better live (Yokohama stadium)
Try their live concerts like we are, clock strikes, they also play softer songs like heartbreak, easy on me cover by Adele. Also wonder but all live they r much better live loke i said before
If there is no particular meaning to this, you should choose the live version of this band's video. Their live performance is cool, including the audience.
You should really check out the live version for sure. But instead of the one at Yokohama Stadium like others tend to recommend I’d say do the one from either their 2015 35xxxv one or their orchestra version live mix.
Following you on your OOR journey! Love your reaction. Their older music does sound more rock-like, but their newer songs are just as good. Also the further back you go the more Japanese lyrics. Can’t wait to see what you think (good and bad) of wide variety of music they have!
the reason I told you that the previous 2 albums is quite poppy because those 2 album really chance their music direction (I think there are trying out new stuffs to bring in more audiences) and some of their OG fans are pretty mad. but not gonna lie even it's quite pop rock it still sound good. If you want to listen to some of them, try the song name "Change" or "One way ticket" (produced by Mike from Linkin Park.) and of cause both prefer LIVE ver.(not the acoustic ver. They do have some live acoutics) than the studio.
Like the other comments said the live versions of ALL of their songs live are just so much better. With the studio versions you just miss out on so much.
I got to see them in Houston a while back and let me tell you, they play with the same energy for the house of blues, as they do the tokyo dome. Legit my favorite band. Check out Kanzen Kankaku Dreamer from any of there lives and you wont be disappointed! also yes theyve definitely played music for several genres, but at least for me, they always sound great in there own way. But I love all music sooo.
ive listened to many kind of bands from different countries...us..uk...south east asia...krock...jrock...i loved them all so far...but jrock i sincirely is playing in their own field...not just for a band...even their soloist is like musically intelligent...its felt like they truly studied music some they are but some they dont but still geniusly well made..like krock what i noticed they played more to music tools instead of instrument....jrock they do played bit some tools but their instrumentation play is really appeal out...
One other thing, despite it's spelling, it's usually pronounced O'Clock (due to how Japanese views those those letters and smashes things together), which I was corrected by my students several years ago (been living in Japan for the last 15 years, and love this band)
Awesome reaction!! but i recommend you to check all the songs in Live, you will get the full experience with OOR. Please react next to "One Ok Rock - We Are" at AMBITIONS JAPAN DOME TOUR Live. Keep growin'
Well now I'm curious about the music you thought was crap 😅😅 I'm nosy!...also mighty long fall needs to be watched live..Infact like everyone else has commented all OOR should be watched live if you can
No no no. ONE OK ROCK = Live Concert

There are several versions of this live, and I love all.
This song is also better live.
The double bass breakdown on the live version will always live rent free in my head, literal fire🔥🔥🔥

Mightly Ling Fall is part japanese but there's an international version as well.
