Mobile poppy playtime is just the original game. They just removed UE engine's dynamic lighting and reflections. Most of the detailed textures are 2d. They removed all the shaders. You can get this type of lighting in the pc version too by removing the lighting file from the game files or turning of lighting in the UE engine.

@That werewolf_Sam Removing something is easier than making something. The devs removed lighting from the original game so that it could be optimised. I never complained about the original game's graphics. YOU BETTER READ THE WHOLE COMMENT BEFORE ASKING ME TO MAKE A REALISTIC GAME.

It doesn't matter how bad it looks, at least they tried to be inclusive. I'm sure it'll be fixed soon anyway.

They updated it, on android it looks a whole lot better. Not sure about iOS tho.

They DEFNETLY updated the mobile version for android. i just played on my phone and it looks much better than before. Also, somehow no lag on an 100$ phone
People should realize that most of the mobile devices (at least 90% of them) can't handle extremely high graphics like the graphics of poppy playtime's pc version

i also think people should realize not even Low End PCs Can load the MENU for poppy playtime, the game is so Terribly Optimized that not even the MENU WILL LOAD!!

That's right. I've seen People Asking about the graphics. But, Almost all mobiles cannot Handle too much graphics, Or not, the Mobile could get broken.
I wish they did something similar to pc gaming, let you fully customize things. Put the pc versions graphics with varying levels of options. It would also help preserve the game for when the next iPhone 20 or Samsung s40 comes out and is able to make current pcs look weak
iphone 20 will not be able to take current pc place, even with really good stuff, only so much you can fit into a phone

@@fingertipsfr most definitely we could, and many things were very different 6 years ago. Just 6 years ago something like vr was still a clunky set up. Now we can get very good looking visuals and framerate from an incredibly small headset. Literally in the next few years neuro implants are going to be human tested.

I found a glitch, not only is there a weird blue square on the floor glitching in the main circular room but at 1:30 you can see the words "Hide Skydome" floating there, that is probably an invisible collider that acts as a trigger and hides the games "Sky Box" because when you go into the conveyer belt areas, there are no rooms with windows so they don't need the sky with the stars to be loaded in anymore, they remove it to improve performance and the text was there to help the developers figure out what was going on behind the scenes during the game, they forgot to remove the text in the final release of the mobile port
Instead of optimizing the game for mobile, they left the game horrible to run well

I didn't realize how different the graphics were until they were put in the same video
The game had to sacrofice a lot so it could run on many more devices lile older phones or tablets
And it doesn't even run well on older phones lol. Appreciate this port but it was rushed as hell, they could've made the graphics lightyears better and optimise it so that older phones can actually run it above 20 fps

Indeed, making games for mobile is quite hard even though I abandoned my own game in Roblox and didn't release it yet because I want it to be optimised for both mobile and pc while it's quite hard for me as a kid to make it because it's about a "zombie open world survival" and made alot of mistakes

Mobiles can definitely handle much more than this so this is just a lifeless port. Like, there's no good textures, the door thst shuts on us and opens when Huggy is just behind us is black for some reason when they could've easily pasted the original one there. There's no atmospheric lighting at all. The orignal one is scary with it's dark lighting and little visibility. This one looks like playing it on alpha when you're part of the dev team. It look bad.

On my mobile version of Poppy Playtime I couldn’t even leave the lobby in chapter 1 because the game wouldn’t let me get a grab-pack for some reason. The reason probably being the mobile port was really buggy
Now they fixes the texture difference (not always) and looks much smoother now
