So pretty, love listening to the sea gulls and your surroundings, its what makes it all real!
Vavoom on the pretty factor!!! Love these!!
Your husband cracks me up. Impeccable timing!! Just like mine😆
I feel right at home with your background noise( husband at work)🥰🥰
Love that your hubby is creative too!
Thank you for beauty you bring to our eyes!💖💞
Thank you for your wonderful ideas on how to use and reuse recycled bits of this and that. I don't make books right now, but can apply the ideas to my soft sculpted bears and their accessories. So many ways to expand on your ideas. You get my creative juices flowing. Much appreciation for you and your videos.
Love watching you work. And hubbys equipment running doesn’t bother me at all.
You could call them scrap-tails, because they're long like dog tails?😍 They are SO beautiful!❤
Love the snippets today. So lovely but you make it look so easy.
I absolutely love these! And all your videos! I love your style!
lol had to giggle at the thank you husband its something I would do as well loving your videos thank you so much for what you do
I asked the question 'when is a scrap - paper, card, lace, etc - small enough to chuck out?'
You've just proved to me the answer is... Never! 🤣
Great video, gorgeous raggety snippets 💙 xx
Gorgeous snippets. Love to watch you work.
These are so clever and beautiful!
Brilliant! I have a big jar of little bits just waiting to become these little snippets! Thanks for the inspiration, Andrea! Hugs, dear one! ❤️
I find it so interesting how you do this...I think I'm too matchy, matchy, lol. I want to try this with all my scraps and old crocheted doilies and things. They'll never be used for their original purposes, unfortunately, so, why not!! I love the sounds of all the ocean birds...you must live near the ocean...
Deena Jeffrey Thank you and yes I live in a small Cornish fishing village xx
I'm so jealous of the variety of lace that you have! These are so pretty!
Wonderful. I have saved hand-made lace, doileys, Sanderson fabric ,old blouses etc just because I love the designs. I have now understood why! i'm adapting your idea and will attempt a mixed media canvas using your technique ofmaking colour-way fabric swatches before hand. So many uses. Love yourwork. Keep it going!!!!
these are adorable and would be just what you'd need for those little empty spaces.Love them.Thank you so much.
Very pretty and I love the birds songs
Absolutely loved watching you make your raggedy clusters. You have a fantastic way of turning trashy bits to beautiful gems. So much Fun.
Very pretty, I need to amass a pile of bits! 🤗
Naturesound and husband working in the background... I like this combination and the cute idea you share with us. Thank you.
That was fun!!🙋🏻😍😘💜💕 TFS
Bonjour, c'est trop beau, merci 🌸
Love that envelope! So pretty! Thanks for the tip on dying the roses. Love your Raggedy Snippets & thanks for sharing how you do them! Wonderful ways to use up all those bits - that I have stuck in a bag! Wonderful ideas! I wished we lived close to each other - I'd love to come and craft with you! But I think Texas is just a little to far to do that! TFS - Hugs, Christal
What fun for you and for us watching. Very helpful, thank you
These are so pretty! ❤
LOVE THIS…I DO IT WITH STITCHING IT TO A base of scrap fabric…
It has be so much fun to have such a beautiful variety of lace to play with like that. I would be beside myself if I had such beautiful lace to use in my journals. It's amazing how you use scrap pieces of paper into beautiful pieces to put into a journal.
I am addicted to making very artful snippet rolls! I love to swap with people internationally. I also use them as pockets, tucks, tags in my handmade journals. Your piles of colors of snippets bits made me swoon! 💗🌸

Lovely raggedy snippets you make those in no time. I don’t have as much lace but now I know I can stain them to get the colors I love 💗. Pinks & blues are my favorite I’ll give the smaller ones a try first 🤗. Thanks for sharing 😊
These turned out to be so gorgeous!!! Love the two different kinds of flowers. Loved all the lace, actually, and the whole creative process. Thank you so much for sharing your ideas & your creations. I'm always so happy to see when something gets stuck to your fingers. Ha!!

Thank you for sharing this process with us, I never get tired of watching you make beautiful things. I love the idea of spraying and coloring lace and flower bits if we don't have the right colors of lace on hand, great idea! I don't mind hearing hubby sawing, I was wondering what he might be making you. Thanks again! Pat K.
Ladybugs Lovlies Thank you, new bathroom so he was cutting the tiles lol. X

I loved hearing the seagulls but I loved your video best! I will definitely refer back to this many times for ideas.....Thank you Andrea......cyndi m.
I’m about to start my first snippet, decided to watch you first ... I’ve seen some so I have the concept, think I’m procrastinating worried I’ll mess up ! However I just thought how could anything with lots of beautiful lace not look great 😀💕 I’ll post photo in your fb group as well as my envelope that’s almost done within the next couple days. Again thank you and everyone else that have helped teach and inspire me. 🤗💕
These are great :) I have been watching you make them as I have been putting together more of my mini Kantha, like the one I sent in your tag challenge :) I also make something I call ‘Kantha Strips” which are hand sewn versions of your snippet rolls. You have a great eye for colour and it inspires me to use use different mixes, thank you 🌹
I love these raggedy clusters, they are so pretty and versatile. Your pink journal is gonna be sensational!! You mention your sister often...is she a junk journalist as well? What is her name?...I'd love to see her creations and follow her if she's on social media. 😊❤🌹
Debs McLaughlin thank you yes she into them now lol and very talented she has a video channel but she doesn’t speak in her videos but well worth a look. I have done a flip through of some of her work on my channel too. Here is her channel. ua-cam.com/channels/AH-fdiAN-AiYdPGiRi6oQw.html
These are great I just wish I had enough scraps to make them ...beautiful xx
Hi Andrea, I love to watch how you piece all your bits together, they all look lovely. Can you recommend a similar glue to the beacon one you use, I can’t find anyone who will ship it to Northern Ireland 😃 I could watch you creating your journals all day, thank you for sharing 😃
valerie girvin Thank you. I buy mine from Amazon do they not ship to Northern Ireland? The glue I used to use before it was called Collall glue it’s the next best thing xx
ARTYmaze thanks Andrea, no unfortunately Amazon don’t deliver it outside mainland Uk, I’ll give Collall a try, thanks so much for replying so quickly 😃😃😃
Neat
These are beautiful... I get so intimidated when I try and do something like. I think I overthink it 🤔...I was also worried the seagulls might eat your little pink flowers, thinking they were food. You know how those seagulls are...🙃
Fascinating to see how you build your snippets. And where do you find all those different kinds of lace?
roden70 thank you most of those snippets came from the two fabric journals I worked on. I do search for lace plus I get them them off retired clothing, charity shops are good x
I get so amused every time the that power saw comes on and you mute your video .. the sounds of home living can't be beat.
just found your channel great idea for colouring the lace Lovely snippets must try these What glue are you using Thanks for sharing xx
Thank you, I most always use 3 in 1 by beacon or fabri-tac also by beacon x
Great tutorial! Love these, so very pretty! You have a great eye for colours and textures and I just love your attention to detail! I am really new to this can I ask what a snip role is? Thank you for sharing 💜💙❤
racheal hinks Thank you, it’s just pieces of fabric that are sewed to some backing, some are beautiful and here on UA-cam, I just do a basic one just so I don’t feel bad when I cut into it lol. I usually use the colours that I use in the journal. X
racheal hinks snippet roll in case you want to look at some on UA-cam x
Thank you. I will take a look on UA-cam for some videos of snippet rolls (snip roll lol 🙂!!!!). Thanks again for sharing and your advice. 💜💙❤
It's great watching you do these clusters. I think I might have the hang of it. I just need to get more bits to work with. What do you prefer to dye the small flowers and lace. Distress ink or ink Oxide? Just wanted to know. Thanks! ☺️
Donna Gasser thank you, I haven’t tried distress oxides yet, what is really good though is the distress re- inkers and sometimes can be picked up cheap. X
Is there a tutorial on the mixed lace strips?
where did you get your flowers (roses) that were on a sheet like that please? Great video, thank you
Thank you, I think it’s called rosette trim, I purchased this ages ago from AliExpress. X
Where do you find your laces? And do you dye them often for the colors your using?
Lorie Duff I get them from a lot of different places, eBay, carboots I also shop in charity shops and search for clothing with lace on it. I don’t tend to dye it as I leave that to my sister as she loves it ( a fantastic knowledgable hair colourist). Not saying I can’t but she does batches and add some for me. Lol. X
Hi , which glue do you use please x
Mags Woodcock I use becon 3 in 1 or fabri-tac. X
i want to ask if you are recording with a phone or camera your voice is not sounding very clear it sound like your tone or is vibraating so itsnot clear
what color have you use fir dyeung blue
Kate Andersen that’s was some Dylan I already had. The colour was called Kingfisher. X
Do you live by the ocean?
Yes in a small fishing village in Cornwall x
So you begin with a roll of material and lace you have sewn together haphazardly then cut a bit off that and begin building your snipits right? I got the paper base to glue the beginning snip bits sewn together to
Sherry Rector yes that’s correct and I usually add fabric of the colours that I will use in the journal. X
Thank you very much. I have tons of fabric for snippets
