In today's video, Dr Andrew Wilson gives the latest housing market figures for the end of December and the end of 2024. while our housing markets have been very fragmented, overall there was substantial growth - watch to see the latest stats
@mangoman9290 there is no doubt that we have been experiencing a per capita recession for 8 quarters. What Andrew is talking about is the very strong job growth and very low unemployment figures suggesting the wheels of industry are turning around.
@@MichaelYardney Which industry would that be??Car manufaturing, steel mill? maybe coal power stations? Sheep export? Which one Michael?..You don't have a clue mate.
@@MichaelYardney Sadly I hear reports that much of this employment is government agencies employing more people to achieve less. We shall see how 2025 goes, it hope for a good year but I am far from convinced on the direction our economy is heading.
Unfortunately heaps of jobs advertised aren’t real, the big business are doing to keep pumping the immigration. I know of people applying for roles they are perfectly qualified for and don’t even get a response. In the same adds keep reappearing all with big companies.
@adriansmith7604 - You are right - what are reported are median prices meaning some areas and some properties will outperform and others will underperform and loose value in the short term. That’s how markets work
@@MichaelYardneyBOOM caught out again lying Michael. No one is interested in your crap! And that bold egg head of an idiot Andrew needs to be locked up for spreading misinformation
@@ronfesta771 thanks for the feedback, Ron. My videos with Andrew tend to be much more formal than the other podcast videos. I do three times a week. Have a happy and healthy. New Year.
@shivaraj6 zI don’t think I’ve described the Melbourne market as “great” since 2021. What we are suggesting is that it is currently undervalued and has long term potential
Obviously not, Michael tends to work of the fact that people are stupid enough to believe anything he says if he calls him self and “Authority in property” 😂😂😂 WHAT A WANKER
@Documentts without knowing your situation in much more detail, it would be wrong to answer. I don't know if you're talking about for a home or an investment, I don't know what your budget is or what your long-term goals are. I don't know if you're looking for cash flow or capital growth. so be wary of people who mention locations before they know more about you

Strong economy with our per capita recession? Not sure I agree there.
