However on my Samsung TV there's an additional step BETWEEN Support and Self Diagnosis. It is DEVICE CARE.
Also when selecting country be sure to press mute, then press volume up, then press channel up, then press mute again. All as seperate actions.
My main issue was that when I tried to access the apps on my Samsung Smart TV it said that the server was under maintenance please try later. When I went into device care and ran a check on the smart hub connection it said that there was an error ERR70001
I Resolved this by disconnecting my VPN!
Neither Samsung or Express VPN could help me with this! Samsung said it was a problem with the TV and it needed repairing and Express VPN said it was a TV problem 🙄

Do you get apple tv in you mu7000?
If you can't find it on smarthub, then it probably isn't supported on that particular device. From what I can get from the apple site, they support most of the samsung models made after 2018.

Omg! It work! Thank you thank you thank you! I bought a 85" tu8000 and in the box said the Alexa was built-in. But it wasn't. I called Samsung for help, they were like an hour trying to solve de issue, the reset the tv 3 times and nothing. The guy told that I would have to wait an update to see if the problem resolves. That was last month and nothing. I gave up about having Hulu in my tv although I have an firetv stick. And 7 echo dots. But with this video now I have Hulu and Alexa in my tv. I'm from Puerto Rico. And instead of putting USA y put my region.and it was limited! Now I also have Samsung tv plus.

2/8/2022 - *Worked* for my Samsung TU700D 65". It didn't have Hulu or HBO Max when I first set it up. After following the steps he mentions in the video the apps appeared in my smart hub. I'm in Puerto Rico.
Samsung technical support was of no help. They just said Hulu was the issue.

This was very very helpful, thank you very much. When I get towards the end of the setup it still asks to select England or Ireland (I bought the TV in the UK), you then click England and it prompts with "this will reset all of your tv setups" and you can either continue or skip, I skipped and it worked perfectly with the country of my choice (Italy). Just in case someone runs into the same issues.

Thank you, but still you can't watch all U.S region apps as long as you are outside U.S because the ip address issue, even if you try access the Samsung secret menu and change the internet service area to U.S it will fail, so the only way is to use vpn beside your way, and even this solution will fail with apps like Prime Video.

This is to allow you install apps that aren't available in your region. To access location locked content you need a VPN or dns proxy.

Yes, resetting smarthub erases everything.
Mine is LE46D653. 'Self Diagnosis' sub menu has no 'hub Reset' option. In fact 'Smart Hub'' has its own sub menu under 'Support' main menu and with no reset option. Any suggestions? Cheers.

The mute button is the volume button, just press it down instead of sideways
I tried this but after changing region to USA some apps like HBO GO is not available. Discovery+ apps is available but cant sign in. It says not available in your region.

I tried it on Samsung Q95T with firmware version 2014.1 . which is the worst firmware update Samsung ever put out..

Does changing the location to USA make HBO Go and Disney+ both available in the apps store? I’m in Thailand. I used to have HBO Go before but I couldn’t find it already in the apps store since I changed the location to India (as suggested in another video to make Disney+ available).

I just did but HBO Go is still nowhere to find in the apps store. There is Disney+ but it says “it’s not available in your region”. Had to switch back to Thailand location again and HBO is back. But Disney+ can’t be found in the apps store again. So the only way to watch both is to reset and change location everytime. 😭Thanks anyways. The remote shortcut to location was very helpful.
