That's exactly how I felt Nill... my first thought was "Why the heck is there a gobbal dropping", and almost instantly it clicked. SO awesome they added that vibe so well to these spell animations.
Each Feca's glyphs have 2 variants: one that stays on the ground, remove something from the enemies (AP, MP, range, ...) and deals damage upon start of ennemies' turns, and one that is a classic single target damage skill that drops a glyph on the feca's feet and grant a buff (range, etc)
As Feca main, I'm really satisfied with these animations overall!!. If there is one thing that I would complain about, it's the ''teleports'' animations, they all seem the same and even if they are not something really detailed on 2.0, they all have some nuances to differentiate.
Some of these are really cool, some of these are really underwhelming. I find most of the elemental spells on the first set to be pretty weak, there's no impact in any of them, just some coloured dust flying around almost. The second set of elemental spells were way better, lots of impact, the gobbals are great. All the utility spells are amazing imo. Rampart having that massive AoE looks great, it'll look amazing when there's actually someone standing that far out
lol - oh man Luna, you REALLY got me curious for them now. If the Xelor spells look as epic as the fight stances they're making for the class, that will be amazing!
Oh they do, the Xelor is hands down the coolest class imo, the devs nailed the vibe of the time-space magic and it's chaotic nature Ps. When you try out the Xelor, make sure to charge up the Synchro with telefrags, it changes appearance
Yeah, once the sound is added, these will be some of the best I've seen so far. Missing sounds make a huge difference though... so I want to see (and hear) them at completion. :-)
All these years I've forgotten that the Feca is actually a shepherd, I'd say this is the first time we see that reflected on the animations

I gotta say, I do miss his little overhead claps to summon elements, but these look really cool, a good job I'd say.
Feca remains my favorite. Though yes, I do hope they adjust the sounds soon.
Agreed, these animations are amazing! Once the sounds are added (I'm assuming they're just not finished), these will be perfect.

great video!
Thanks. 🙂
Oh man, I hope they bring back the old Aggressive Glyph (Prairie) sound that was like SHWAAAA.
nice!

I have a sneaking suspicion that when you eventually make it to xelor and sram they will be on the team x3. So the team would be hup feca sram xel

Rank: Huppermage > Feca (with sound) > Enutrof..... otherwise Enu > Feca
