What a beautiful structure w great bones. I can just imagine a family living a quiet rustic life farming then sitting out on the porch under the stars. I love this.
ONE of the coolest buildings I've seen in a longtime. Excellent photography Tom the lighting, that yard looked freshly mowed this is gorgeous!!❤ Been watching your interviews very cool, you and Daisy, have a safe journey home!!❤
LOL - I had to come back this morning for another view. Simply amazes me what they did with the limited tools and limited raw materials available. The substructure is holding up quite well. Can anyone tell me the purpose of all the holes at bottom of structure (1:26 in the vid)?
This is definitely beautiful! Great pics Tom! I know you have to be enjoying yourself! I would love to go see some of the interesting places you've been. And I will someday! 😃
@@ChosenWon I got the chance to go in the big one in Indy the old Central State. It was the greatest, strangest experience ever! IMPD owns the property now and they do a lot of training there in all the old empty buildings. I’m not one to believe much in haunted places but the shit I seen was unexplainable. There are actually old chains in the basement area still from when it was legal to physically confine and restrain people. A very interesting piece of history.
Love that big porch ! Wonder what that lumber would cost now days ! ??? Looks big and open like a bunk house for several workers .Just useing my imagination lol I've just never seen one that big nor with that big wood . Really nice views
Hate to break everyones bubble, these were built in the late 1980's and finished in the early 1990's by a guy who was into buckskin rendezvous trend. We owned land not far from him, we traded some work on our barn roof in exchange for him removing some stones from our creek for different reasons, at one time he planned a stone rimmed well.
Are they for tobacco? Heavily subsidized crop back in the day. My great grandparents were share coppers in Connecticut, Connecticut wrapped cigars are my favorite.
If these wall could only talk! I would love to hear all the stories. ❤️🙏🏽🇨🇦

Makes me homesick. Thank you for sharing this Tom!

That’s an amazing place. Built with care! It looks like electricity was installed later. Super interesting
Thanks. I thought so.
This is prob my fav of your building videos. It captures the fascinating architecture and construction details. I'd like to know its story.
Me, too. A really interesting structure.

Omg! You’re so close to me!
A lot of history. Be nice if they could be restored.

I'm in a very small town, Battle Ground Indiana. It'd be another place for photography, due to the history. Google it! Let me know if you visit!

Why won't they restore it and let the homeless people live there if it's safe
No owls??
