Bless you folks. Haven't heard of Hatzalah until recentely, but glad it exists. In the midwest USA there aren't as many Jewish folks so Hatzalah is unheard of here, but we obviously have volunteer ambulance and fire fighter services in rural areas and small towns that fulfill the same role. Regardless, the spirit to come to the aid of a fellow human being in the hour of their need is admirable. Hatzalah, from what I read, serves in heavily Jewish communities but their services are rendered to all without concern for creed or color or station in life.
My family has used similar service in Manhattan. If I have hatzolah take me to hospital does charge the same as a fire dept ambulance? Of course this is situation to avoid. My mother in law gives me enough problems I need to be prepare

I think volunteers from all organizations can relate to this very easily. Whatever it may be no matter when or where, we'll be there for you
