Around 10~ years since they last gave us ‘Illustrated Guide to Soul Reapers’/‘Arrancar Encyclopedia’ with Gin, so it was great to see Askin continue the tradition with ‘Quincy Daten’ and hope they do it next Cour (maybe telling use BG9’s and Robert’s Schrifts and have short segments like Byakuya’s teleporting contest across a desert while Gin was confused in the background.) We finally know the female Quincy with a gun, Nikita Deslock, and her relationship chart.
Not gonna lie, I 100% forgive them for the filler in the last part of episode 40 simply for them giving the Vizards a chance and giving Shinji more love like letting him use his bankai earlier.
Cour 4 will ascend bleach to something we've never seen before With only 25 chapters left to adapt, there's no question we'll get atleast 7-8 episode of brand new content 😊

I'm not surprised at the end of the cour 4 they give some sneak peak for burn the witch or leave the ending open-ish for possible Hell ARC in the very far future.
Please try to check the extended versions of the OP and ED that were aired on the Japanese version of the episodes! They aired a 3mins long OP on episode 39 and a 3mins ED on episode 40 (they're both on the VIZ UA-cam channel)

Coincidentally, that ability makes him an ideal candidate to take down Yhwach (at least before he absorbed the soul king). Cour 4 will give more context, especially relating to why his father did the autopsy on his wife.
Really annoyed they dissed Liltotto like that. In the manga, it was only Liltotto and Gigi that fought Yhwach, and he was awake. Even showed he had his eyes open. But since they moved things around they made them lose to an uncouncious Yhwach when they had even more backup. The anime makes Liltotto look like a small fry, even though she has all of pepe's power and schrift going into this fight. She's a double stacked Sternritter who is also one of the most skilled and intelligent among them to begin with. All the people she ate, she should be jacked in terms of raw power. Losing to just random shadow shit is annoying tbh
Considering Cour 4s set to have 50-80% Anime Original Content in it Cour 4 is set to be Insanely!! Hype… And knowing the general context of whats to come that they have to work around with said Anime Original Content if people thought any of rest of TYBW was hype then Cour 4s gunna blow lot of minds… Like Gerards Fight is what Im looking forward to most for specific reason Iykyk but theres SO much good sht to come in Cour 4 its actually hard to imagine just how incredible this could be if they do it right, I cant freakin wait!!

Did you miss the after credit scene with the "dads" in EP39? If so, that's likely why you were so shocked to see them pull up near the end of EP40.

The final episode was more or less to compensate for the final of last cour (post credit scene was also a bit of a comedy scene with kon a believe).
I'll appreciate it more if they just put another Bleach on the Beach episode for those last 15 minutes instead of what ever that is Askin is doing.
