Those tires are kind of a let down. But, for someone doing a lot of float flying, it looks pretty solid. I'm pretty sure it also has a little slot cut in the "sun roof" for glider towing. If you're into that sort of thing. Those flaps are sweet. Love me some barn door action. 😊 Great use of those FMS Supercub 1.3m wheels. Ive had those on my Maule and theyre great. Took a little "adjusting" to fit. But, theyre light weight, solid, most surface gear. 👍
Cool Chris. Glad to see the upgrades. I have the V2 as well as the night Tundra and both were upgraded with 60amp ESCs I had laying around to run on 4s. Just good all around STOL plane from HK. Great review. Love the new red livery one too. 👋👍👍
I tried flying the Tundra V3 today. And it didn't fly so well. CG is good, like in the video. The plane responded very poorly, it was difficult to turn it. I don't know what's wrong, does anyone have similar problems?
@@Thercgeek I thought so. The green shed in the back in the beginning gave it away. Glad they mowed the field surrounding it. I put a A-10 down in the tall grass one day. Not the best place to “land” a green camo plane. That is a nice spot to fly.
1107 nominal best cg location is a ratio.! at Thirty percent of chord. knowing this fact takes the guess-work out of cg-balancing. (this assumes, of course, that a (model) aircraft has a good dom. and, most scratch-built models don't have that. distribution of mass.)
210 ERROR when the model is level the main lg should be Directly below the wing leading edge.! this is not an opinion. the issue is the correct/optimal location of the MASS of the lg.
Beautiful example and expert use of that rudder… 👏
Very nice. Looks like both a fun and capable model.
Great fun flight there!

Looks like so much fun!
It is! 😊
GREAT REVIEW!!!! Thanks Chris!!!
Thanks man!
You got it!! I ordered the 4s motor for my V2 they finally have them in stock thanks to you!

Please could you give me the link to get those rubber wheels I heard from a P18 plane, thanks

Good review! Looking at getting one of these. Where was this video shot at?
This was filmed out at cane ridge park. Pretty awesome spot to fly

No link to the wheels. :P

Chris do you think it's worth the price? I just don't think it has any use after training someone. I do like that it comes with floats. Great video

244 when they are put on a TINY wing, those things JUST make 'extra' Drag. dum
EPO tires. So dumb
Haha, yeah I’m not a fan either 😆
