As Futao was cursed, Kintoru/Sama took an advantage of splitting Futao's soul into two, One is Sorry, One is Anger.

The only thing I don't understand is why there was ONE mother, yet there are TWO monsters (Futao and Mote) at the end. If anyone knows, can you please explain? Because apparently they are twins but the previous cutscene didn't say the mother had a twin and she wasn't associated in the cutscene.

Futaomote wasnt a good mother and decided to make a deal with a devil ( sama ) , Sama offered the lady a butterfly spirit , FUTAOMOTE ate the butterfly spirit and turned into 2 skeletons Futao : humming , sword , normal face Mote : laughing , scythe , big nose , big grin , IMPLUSIVE SIDE OF FUTAOMOTE
They're the same person, futao is hiachi's mom trueself and mote is futao's impulsive side. When there's a backstory about hiachi's mom you can see she's looking at the mirror and you'll notice her impulsive side
