This plane definitely reminded me of why I got into War Thunder in the first place and what has kept me hooked for many years. Sometimes it's not about fancy MBTs, the fastest jet, high kill matches, or pulling off that impossible shot and sure those things do bring enjoyment. I think Bo & Co are the only people I can describe as so bad at video games that it takes genuine skill. Team killing by dropping planes on them is not something most can do

This video is hilarious. The crashing, stick catching a ride on bo and getting a hit, the airkill, the squad trying to land on bo. Shows that low tier is fun

It sucks they removed this plane from the regular tech tree, it was such a historically significant plane. Also about that comment at the beginning about planes doing hand to hand combat, it was actually a common tactic for early Soviet fighters such as I-16s early on in the war. I’m not sure if it was the I-16, but I think there was a plane that had reinforced landing gear for such purposes.
The TB-3 and Po-2 both deserve better than to be paraded around as event vehicles once in a blue moon. Cheap and bottom-tier as they are, both machines are icons of the Soviet front from start to finish.
