What I love most about this idea of Epic Universe is the contrast! Like, you can go to this dark and scary realm and then go straight to Super Nintendo World right after, where everything is happy and colorful. This is going to be the best experience in any theme park yet!
I’m actually a lot more excited for that Wolf Man spinning coaster than I was before. It’s got a coherent story (probably with a pre show), and I really like the way the coaster & queue go through a forest area behind the village. As for Monsters Unchained, it sounds like it will really use every tool in the box to take the scare level up to 11!
I thought it was a waste of space when I saw the testing, but I didn't realize that the spinning in the testing was random because it hadn't been programmed yet, and not because it was going to be like that on the final ride
@@CobbleBompster that's fair. I just really dag the wolfman and Dracula looks. Especially the wolfman. I liked how he actually looked like a werewolf and not a guy with a fro and a beard.
I’m really happy that they didn’t go to creepy with the land, don’t get me wrong it definitely is but it’s not so crazy where kids won’t wanna step into the land
Finally! Universal is honoring the past, by bringing the monsters into today. I forsee them doing something with jaws and other classics too. There's a big demand for that from fans
BRO, exactly 😂 @jonathanest90s exactly because Universal is BLOWING them out of the water, i’d bet on everything Universal has Disney’s imagineers now.
This could honestly be the best theme park land ever created. It has an overarching story that tastefully combines ip and is actually really good and makes sense (unlike Fantasy Springs with the Duchess and weird water spirit) and lots of characters that will really bring life to the area (also lacking in Fantasy Springs). There's really cool and interesting techniques to create kinetics like the fiery windmill, werewolf coaster, and the electrical volts. The monsters ride also looks like it will be the best ride ever created. Seems Tokyo Disney's Fantasy Springs was a preview for what Universal is doing in Florida.
@@CobbleBompster that kind of concept was a sort of dream theme park land for me. I always imagined a sort of villains land with a sort of small league of heroes, and attractions where you join said league to face off villains. I'm glad it's become a reality in Epic Universe.
Hopefully it isn’t all flash and no quality. The Tiana ride is a good example of flash without quality. I hope they can maintain this ride and keep delivering what they promise.
@@CobbleBompster they have a steampunk space themed land with many Jules Verne and Melies references (something Disney removed from their parks...) and an in-park hotel DisneySea style; a video game land (also the superior version of said video game land); a stylized vintage Paris reminiscent of DisneySea with a magical twist; a more kid-oriented land with vikings and dragons that also appeals to adults; and now this. This is insanely beautiful. Looks straight out of something like Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 with the classic spooky scenery, which I believe has never been done before in any major theme park. It’s also not in-your-face scary like Halloween Horror Nights. It’s perfection ❤
This looks amazing, I just need to know, every member of “the big nine” them being Frankenstein, Dracula, The Mummy, The Wolf Man, Creature From The Black Lagoon, The Phantom Of The Opera, The Invincible Man, The Bride Of Frankenstein and Quasimodo all will get PLENTY of representation and merch! I also need museum areas where we can see screen-used artifacts. I would cry if I saw some of the things I’ve dreamed of seeing for years now. But other than that, it looks AMAZING!!!

Looks great, but my only fear is that this land will pretty much be only THIS cool at night. And everyone will know that, so walking around at night in Darkmoor will be a pain lol.
