Thanks for sharing ladies. Something I hadn't thought to be careful of with the caps on the gas bottles, but will be checking the one on our spare bottle now 👍
@@e.colemantlpss6406 The gas cabinet is sealed with a door (The door was off to access the bottles) and the locker does have vents in the bottom, for the gas to escape. Thank you for your comment 😊
We have an Expedition 66… and had similar problems with gas bottles. Eventually we noticed the gas pipe connection into the van was cross threaded, it must have been like it from new. Anyway one new gas pipe replaced and no more leaks 🤞

@@sarahlingard3952 yes it’s something we didn’t really think about either, but we will definitely check going forward 👍🏻
Great video.
@@CharltonWay Thank you 😊
Pleased you’re safe and sound and that you didn’t cause an explosion bed to the wonderful Manoir 😂😆
@@ChateaudeRazac 🤣 Thank you guys for all your help today 😊 Tash & Trace xx
Oh no... that could have ended badly. Well done you guys in checking it out and getting it sorted.1
@@WormsEyeView Pleased we had a happy ending 😊
I always use a gas detector when I change over to a new bottle. Worth a few quid from amazon.
@@marionirvine999 Thank you for your advice, we will definitely do that in the future 😊
That's meant to be a sealed gas cabinet with a vent in the bottom for Gas to escape. Gas shouldn't be leaking into the habitation area.
