My personal favorite from seeing them back Gregory Issacs in 1984 and all of Overton Brown's scientific work. Itals were another they backed and the Wailing Souls and Israel Vibration ❤💛💚
I've just been doing a deep-dive on Roots Radics for the past year and my mind has officially been blown! They have provided their musicianship to hundreds upon hundreds of reggae records, often without proper credit. They ARE reggae! The Itals, Gregory Isaacs, Eek-a-Mouse, Israel Vibration, and Freddie McGregor are some of my favorites, as well as just about anything with their name on it! The dub mixes by Scientist, Jammy, etc are top-notch also!! Playing together, for years in the studio as a full-time job, and touring together all over the world, made them precise & tight!
