These cakes are brilliant and beautiful, but I just want to add a side note so if anyone is thinking of recreating these cakes and they are a beginner with decorating. When stacking a cake on top of another cake you can use straws or dowels, however when measuring the height of them for your cake refer to the penguin video and not the rudolf one. In the penguin video she measured one dowel at the highest point of her lower cake and then pulled it out to cut and measure all the other dowels. In the rudolf video she stuck all the straws in then just cut each down to the cake. That can lead to your cake falling over or pushing down on one side of your cake bottom. She is a professional so she might have had a better eye for cutting the straws a bit more evenly, but we don’t want anyone else working super hard on their beautiful cake and have it fall over. Trust me it sucks. But again on the happier note, these cakes are amazing and beautiful. Love love love it!!
