Yes, exactly! That's the main reason I so love to watch their videos. The respect they show towards their children is (unfortunately) rare. But I'm sure they are such a good example for others.

I grew up as the first of six kids in my family during the early 50s in London and in those days you were never allowed to question your parents and teachers in any way at all. If you did do so, the answer would invariably come back from them simply as "Because I said so." And that was it, regardless of how you felt about it. The thing is, I realised a long time ago that it was another era entirely and they were only doing what they had learned previously themselves. It's probably one of the reasons I never got married and had kids myself.

I don't have a brother but I have a younger sister. The age difference between us is about the same as it is between Claire and Carson. We used to share a room and we had so much fun! We now sleep next door to each other, just us 2, in the loft so its like the old times again!

Ashley, I am so glad you were able to share Claire with the world, I can still remember the first video I saw with her in it and it moved me so much. Friday videos.... looking forward to seeing the Crosby family are a highlight of my week. I am a senior who lives alone, I never married, never had children but taught kindergarten for almost 30 years and I LOVE kids! I enjoy the music and the family interaction and there is just so much joy in watching your beautiful family grow up. So thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing. Your videos warm my heart and make me smile. Please keep on going for a long, long, long time.

My dad was a string bass professional musician and I am a flutist and I really enjoyed playing with him. I have wonderful memories of those times. I'm also very impressed by your love for your family, the way every one is special , valued and has a chance to express themselves. I love that you believe in God and teach christian values to your children. Thank you for your simplicity, humbleness and sharing your joy, your music and children with us. Actually just realized that although we all loved Claire from the first video, I think the success of the Crosbys is due to the fact that both of you are so likeable, watchable, loveable personalities. Esp Ashley who doesn't usually talk as much as Dave / Claire but when she does, she really comes through as her own person with creative ideas and strong opinions. And all three of you: Dave, Ashley and Claire could hold your own youtube channel with just your individual gifts (cos it remains to be seen what the younger kids will get up to in future) but you're that much stronger as a family unit. Keep it up guys, you cheer up our days and give young families a good example of great partnership and parenting!

Yes, they recognize and find happiness in using God's gift of musical talent in their children; not surprising, given the genetic overload 😁. But Claire's disposition about being on board 100% with performing, is obvious, and anyone who says a word against her joy in using a God-given talent should be ashamed of their obvious jealousy. I always envy parents who are as supportive as you guys to your children with what they’re passionate about, like you yourself would even spend time and effort cultivating it. It is also amazing that your kids, young as they are, would already understand humility. (Cause not all are taught to not let their talents get into their heads.)

I'm a licensed Cosmetologist and you did a great job on his hair! I remember in my school somebody cutting hair for first time and each stroke their eyes got big and they would giggle like it was going to look hideous...and then the guard fell off and bald spot! That did not happen so u did great! Oh and the "u look like a man" comment could not be wronger! You look like a Disney princess all the time and just stunningly gorgeous! I am thinking man how could I look even a fraction as gorgeous as u! Dave is lucky to have u...gorgeous and ohh so talented!
I love how the littles are in big t shirts. Thinking they are mom’s and dad’s? Brings back memories of our own 5 littles when my husband let them pick tees out of his closet to wear to bed. We called them “jammie shirts”. 🤣
