Policy for Government Management of Cultural Heritage Places: Principles Heritage Asset Management. The government is a steward of cultural heritage places on behalf of New Zealanders. To improve outcomes for cultural heritage places, the updated Policy for Government Management of Cultural Heritage Places 2022 extends coverage to all state sector organisations except for school Boards and Trustees.
Manatū Taonga has commissioned New Zealand Pouhere Taonga to deliver a series of webinars to inform agencies of the updated Policy through expert advice. This is the second of a series of webinars that will be delivered throughout the year. This webinar was recorded on October 16, 2023.
