AIAI DELAS ALAS HITS STAR CINEMA OVER NEWS OF ‘TANGING INA’ REMAKE.

Comedienne AiAi delas Alas recently went to FB Live to slam her former home studio, Star Cinema.
In a post from current home base in San Francisco, California, Delas Alas said she felt bad upon learning that Star Cinema bosses ordered the removal of a news post quoting her desire to do a remake of the hit movie, “Tanging Ina.”
Delas Alas said she expressed her desire for a remake which she wants to be titled “Tanging Ina, The Reunion” to show how her kids in the original movie have grown and matured over the years.
“At saka ano namang masama kung mabalita ‘yun? Masama ba ‘yun? Or baka ayaw n’yong ma-associate sa akin? Bakit? Pinagkakitaan n’yo naman ako dati sa Star Cinema, ‘di ba?” Delas Alas said in the video.
Star Cinema has no immediate reaction.
Star Cinema is the movie-making arm of ABSCBN in which Delas Alas was once a prized talent. The comedienne, however, decided to transfer to rival network, GMA, until she migrated to the U.S.
