Hey that's me! Corvette has always held that upper spot over the Camaro and Mustang. Mostly due to the corvette being built to be a high end performance car. While the Camaro's and Mustang's made to be affordable pony cars. Many will fight over which is better of the two, but they are so close it's not worth fighting over it. It's just a matter of preference - Blue oval or bow tie. Love'em or hate'em, that Corvette sounds so deep and sexy!

I love this sound... Perfect V8 sound is a NASCAR car.... I love it! also I love old muscle car V8 sound and my BMW e34 with M60B40 engine ( you must check that sound)

I also do crazy things like taking my giant American Cadillac cts-v auto crossing. I am a "bi-racer", I love all auto sports! :)
There are so many amazing engines in the world, with a lot of variation among them, that's a given. Still, nothing at all sounds as furious and enraged as a race prepped American V8 in full song. Love it!

that stingray looks wild! I've heard about crazy street racing stories in usa, about a guy called charley woit that use to beat porsches in the canyons with a 66 vette.
I don't think anyone said they couldn't turn corners. They just say they can't turn corners as fast. And these guys weren't cornering all that fast, except for a muscle car. But man, oh man...the sound. God, I love fours and straight sixes, but NOTHING can beat a 2-valve V8 for sound. If a high-RPM banger is a screamer, a V8 is a symphony! (See, I love them all. I just like to be honest about what they're good at).
Anyone knows anything about that black 3rd gen Camaro? Is it also a IMSA-style pure race car or a home build? Engine? Love the sound. Got me really motivated to build something similar for trackdays.
The really cool thing is you could drive both the Corvette and the '71 Trans Am on the streets, because if the car is model year 1971 or older, you don't need mufflers for it to be street-legal. You could only drive them until 11:00 PM, because of the noise ordinance law.
@EvilTwinBrotherBob I agree. I own a '68 Firebird, a '74 Pantera and a '88 Prelude. One also has to consider which car is the best for what course or what kind of driving you'll be doing. For this course I think I'd choose my Prelude first. On a more open course I'd choose the other ones. Just because one car is good for one kind of driving and not the other doesnt mean its no good. I like them all.

@MPZRACEVIDEO No sir! It's a Plymouth Duster ;) But I really cannot recognize the tail lights. The body screams Duster and not Dart but the taillights makes me worried.

Dude, you're not making sense, read my statement again. Mustang has a lovely sense, it doesn't matter that it has the same engine as a pickup truck. Plus, other Fords sound different, because the sound depends on the exhaust, and other things, and not just the engine block. Read what I wrote when you're sober.
Absolute massive difference between the speed of the 80's american cars and the Euro cars its embarrassing how slow the American cars are but when you think of it they have never made a fast car full stop
Hey bud, it haven't seen anyone that has just simply answered you're question so I will, from a popularity standpoint, you listed them in reverse order, you take a drive around a city in America and list how many of each you see there will be more mustangs, than Camaros, than corvettes. Personally out of these 3 I like a Camaro the best.

@InWaipawa From what I've seen the Ford GT, Corvette, Mustang, Focus, Cobalt, SRT Neon, and let's not forget the new Fiesta handle pretty well.
