Oof, do I ever have an opinion on this. Balistix and Bizkit are both great beatboxers. You don't get to top 8 in America by being bad. That being said, no beatboxer is perfect. The comments about Bizkit being "toxic" are by no means justified. No one goes into a battle expecting to be respected and praised the whole way through by their opponents cause there's only one winner, and a good amount of these competitors went to New York to win this. Everyone should respect each other off stage but on stage...you shouldn't be opposed to calling things as you see them. I've been on both ends of this, talking shit and getting comments about how they didn't like that as well as had shit talking happen to me. Part of putting yourself up on that stage is being ready for the criticism you're going to receive from the audience, judges, comments and your adversaries, as I'm sure Bizkit is completely ready for and not phased by all your comments and I'm sure balistix expected someone to call him out for his beatboxing. It's simply part of the sport and if you can't handle it the criticism, then maybe you aren't made for it. Of course, you don't need to talk shit to win battles but why wouldn't you when it's warranted? Respect is treating your opponent as an opponent and considering them as a threat to your goal. That speaks for itself. As for the whole balistix biting thing... It's hard to say he isn't. I'm not sure if a lot of the comment section is new to beatboxing, or just not following it as much, but there's definitely hard influences within his beatboxing. Of course, it's fine to take influence from other beatboxers as long as you make it your own but I've seen exact patterns/flows taken from other beatboxers and I could understand how that frustrates people. Imagine working so hard on building an original style and sound to bring yourself to success in these competitions and make a name for yourself, but then someone comes around who is a good beatboxer but doesn't have a definitive style and has bitten beats/patterns etc off other beatboxers and get's all this attention. I think the criticism is justified... for now. Balistix is a great beatboxer and all he's missing is building a style that's truly his own. Often, that just comes with time and effort. I don't mean this with any ill intent, just calling it as I see it. It's a piece of criticism that he gets often and it wouldn't be wise to ignore it knowing what his goals are. Part of growing is being able to take criticism into account and make proper adjustments while taking bad criticism and pushing it to the side. Ya'll should chill with the comments calling out Bizkit for being toxic and try to see his point of view with an open mind.

I wasn't there so I won't comment on the judge's opinions, but this crap about Balistix being called out for copying is exactly that, crap. @Coldness Oi. So you say Balistix is biting for using a sound Colaps happens to use a lot. I am just wondering why anyone who does a zipper is technically biting helium? Or anyone who does a liproll biting Napom?
Purple biting doesnt mean taking a sound it means using the same exact pattern and structure of another person who created it and not using your own original. You can use any sound you want as long as you put it to your own original use
Great battle from both guys! Gotta say it though, Bizkit likes to say people use other's sounds, yet he used nothing but Gene and Wunknown's sounds himself. Big up to both and great improvements from Balistix here.

I've watched battles with a lot more tension and a lot more trash talking then this, but I think what made people respond the way they did to Biskit is how baseless his digs were. First, he accuses balistix of not being original while his stuff sounds more generic than his, and then he does the karate chops while balistix is actually keeping time just fine. If you're going to call out someone on something you can't be guilty of the same thing. It just makes him look bad.

And last years Australian championships Tarik vs CLR CLR gets really aggressive on stage lol
Asylumental bizkit and ballistix hugged it out and they talked after. Shows that there’s no bad blood at all. The easiest indication of having bad blood is not shaking hands or showing any good sportsmanship after the battle.
This is a battlle i mean its normal talking shit to your opponent cuz ofc its a battle and battles arent all that friendly lol but in the end they're friends so for those who are sensitive with the situation dont try to minsunderstand this shit is normal (i may be late commenting in this vid cuz im a latecomer but just giving my opinion and its not like im close with these guys btw)
This battle has so much tension and I love it. People need to realize battles are still competitive. And in my opinion, BizKit got robbed here. He was way more precise, was always on time, has more complex routines, variation, and was more original. Ballistix is very skilled but I feel like he lacked basic beatbox practices, and routine inspiration and that’s key in my eyes.
I disagree, Balistix is insanely precise and his structure and sound control is world level. His stage presence is on point, he didnt break under pressure and had a great rebuttal. He gets called on biting for no real reason, he is original, inspired, but original. He took this fair and square. Judges know what they're doing.
Rebuttals and counters aren’t really worth doing if unless you can exactly copy it or level it up, and he didn’t really level up his vocals on that one. And if we’re going off of rebuttals then BizKit won with his comment lol. I never said he straight up copied people verbatim, but at least turn it into something yours. Breathing into the mic as a drop is Babeli as hell, riding the click wave with Collaps’ exact placement, etc. I respect his intentions with it but it just doesn’t execute especially while he’s dragging or speeding up on combos.
There are Different opinions ofc. In my opinion balistix routines were more complex, more technical and more creative. He sounded much Cleaner too. So easy win for me actually
JWatOfficial I see where you’re coming from but Ballistix was a lot cleaner in this battle, and understood battle fundamentals like how to end a round and how to keep the “hype” throughout a round. I respect your opinion but completely disagree
I love aggressive beatboxer but with the skill to back their aggressiveness like d low , this dude just straight up aggressive but with no skill to back it up lol
People keep comparing bizkit to other beatboxers and say how they trash talk. But when they do it they do it in a jokingly way. We all know bizkit did it to inflate his ego and because he was truly mad.
It’s sad that people are trying to destroy bizkit for calling ballistix out for biting and acting cocky. No disrespect to ballistix but I know for a fact that he’s biting. And just because he didn’t act as aggressive as bizkit he got away with all of it. This is also a battle. There is room to NOT BE NICE. y’all are tripping way too much over this.
idgi why is bizkit calling out balistix for biting? I checked out, and unless I have missed something idk what is supposed to be bit (like, clearly the audical and trung inspiration was there, but was there really anything stolen?). But when he does the arm thing as a response to double clicking it just got cringy. Like he believes that using a sound is biting. By these measures Bizkit bit more than Balistix. Then he acts super cocky about lip osc and melody, as if that hasnt been done a hundred times. (not that i think its wrong to use, but acting like its something original for him is silly)
@@ponobeatbox I have no idea what elisii pattern you are talking about, and he is using diffrent sounds, diffrent notes, diffrent timbres than colaps, diffrent structure, etc. Its just within the same realm of beatboxing. Not to mention that Bizkit also had stuff that would be as similar to Colaps as Balistix stuff. And if alternate breathing techniques is "biting" then D-Low, Napom, etc. all are just biting. Not to mention anyone singing while beatboxing. You cant own concepts like that in music. We could even stretch it further and call anyone using B kick instead of making their own is a biter. Beatbox community has always been about teaching and involving more ppl in beatboxing, idk why we would start shaming ppl for using double clicks just because it is associated with someone who is using them really well.
Bizkit definitely isnt a shining example of originality for him to come at ballistix like that on stage... Sing less, drop more beats...use less lip osc. Then talk. Both of them are up and comers and are super strong beatboxers and should respect eachother.
Bizkit calls shit on balistix for biting material and then round 2 decides to do the most ball zee fucking beat ever. And with terrible sound consistency in the lip bass. Lol, smooth
The energy in this battle gave me so much adrenaline 😩 loveeeee

Asylumental bizkit and ballistix hugged it out and they talked after. Shows that there’s no bad blood at all. The easiest indication of having bad blood is not shaking hands or showing any good sportsmanship after the battle.
To much crying from Bizkits lul
2:34 does anyone know how he did that effect?
Biztix my new fav tag team fuck all the rest
bizkit is a nice dude yall
Holy Hakdogs!
balistix god 🔥
@@JWatBeatbox i respect ur opinnion dud but, he isn't.
Awesome balistix!! Very bad the actitude of Biztkit
Being there live many agreed that BizKit took this one but big up anyway I guess
😂😂😂
Someone’s salty lmaoo
@@ErroAxe bruh stfu you look like you wear wrangler jeans
Bruh
I love aggressive beatboxer but with the skill to back their aggressiveness like d low , this dude just straight up aggressive but with no skill to back it up lol
xd
Well this didn’t age well
People keep comparing bizkit to other beatboxers and say how they trash talk. But when they do it they do it in a jokingly way. We all know bizkit did it to inflate his ego and because he was truly mad.
I would be mad too if someone won against me using other peoples beats 🤷🏻♂️
@@bigdave4400 Please link me a video of someone else doing that exact structure. Or are your claims just based off lies?

Balistix best taunter
It’s sad that people are trying to destroy bizkit for calling ballistix out for biting and acting cocky.
No disrespect to ballistix but I know for a fact that he’s biting. And just because he didn’t act as aggressive as bizkit he got away with all of it.
This is also a battle. There is room to NOT BE NICE. y’all are tripping way too much over this.
i like balistix
idgi why is bizkit calling out balistix for biting? I checked out, and unless I have missed something idk what is supposed to be bit (like, clearly the audical and trung inspiration was there, but was there really anything stolen?). But when he does the arm thing as a response to double clicking it just got cringy. Like he believes that using a sound is biting. By these measures Bizkit bit more than Balistix. Then he acts super cocky about lip osc and melody, as if that hasnt been done a hundred times. (not that i think its wrong to use, but acting like its something original for him is silly)
Tuss Beatbox I mean whole Colaps and elisii patterns and the breathing thing in the second round was babeli from so many years ago
@@asylumental To be fair you can be unoriginal with out biting, and Bizkit is calling out biting, not unoriginality.
@@TussBeatbox he called him out for biting, losing timing, and being predictable... among other things...
When none of it was really true
Bizkit calls shit on balistix for biting material and then round 2 decides to do the most ball zee fucking beat ever. And with terrible sound consistency in the lip bass. Lol, smooth
balistik
esh
This battle is fun, i mean look at villain guys how can you say balistixs toxic but villain isnt? XD
