Finally! Jazz-Soul-RnB in modern OPM (I'm such a fan of these genres)!!!! My old soul is happy.. and Janella did so well! Hopefully, many younger listeners will be more appreciative of these soulful genres~ Ang genius pa kasi, ahm, correct me if I'm wrong, Janella's actually using her head voice/headtone sa '"headtone~" part. Then syemps, you get the sensual meaning of the lyrics ;-)
I'm just a casual listener yet I wanna listen to the whole album so bad na tuloy ^^ And the MV~ VAWC, Battered Woman Syndrome, toxic relationships -- a jazz bar singer and her lover. What a story!

Oh, I can smell the cigars, the liquor and wine.. the powdery vanilla scents of women I am seated with; I can hear the clinking of glasses; My eyes came across many men in the room until I catch sight of one beautiful bearded man --- we hold each other's gazes as Janella, the enchanting Jazz bar singer, sings my deepest desire from him that night -- "I can't wait for you to hear me on my headtone..."
