I hope you're on MAMBI's payroll -- I bought my Classic Happy Planner on a whim...but 2 months later I have three planners and 7 sticker books (please don't tell my husband...lol) and it's mostly because of ideas I've gotten from watching your videos!
I'm starting my Faith Planner in the New Year... between the Bible App, my church sermon and my Bible Study group, and watching millions of videos, I think I'll need to combine a few journals in to one, to get the perfect daily and weekly layout! Then I hope, if all goes well with that, I'll be just like you, and have a few planners on the go, including a Memory Keeper... itching to start that in New Year, but baby steps, perhaps :) Best wishes!
I watched a ton of videos before buying my Happy Planner & accessories 11/2017 (asked husband to get this for my birthday) loved all your newbie tips & subscribed to your channel. The Productivity sticker book was my first because I wanted to do all my work planning on it, but I’m also doing some memory planning as I go. I agree the planner basics is the way to start. I added that one & have used it up a lot. So glad you posted this as I’m debating on my next sticker book. Helps to know which ones you reach out for the most & the ones you repeatedly buy. I just got one of my best friends into planning and I suggested the Colorful Life (which is the coordinated boxes) and the Planner Basics books and I was really pleased to see that you suggested them too! I also do love the Rainbow and Color Story books and suggested those next to her. My other favorite books are the Seasonal one and the new Tiny book! I love the small deco stickers in both of the books and I feel like they really make my spreads more fun :)!

I purchased the coordinate colors one and colour story for my first books. I also bought the Mom and seasonal books. I have now collected every book in the last year.
I think you're right on with the top choices for newbies. The first two I bought after lots of flip throughs, were Planner Basics and Rainbow. I thought they give lots of options. I still don't have nearly as many as you hehe... but I have since gotten some more targeted ones as well (budget, memory planning, etc.)
Great choices! I haven't seen the planner basics book like this one..the new ones are different but they are good ones for those just starting out too is the Everyday book. The Choose Happy and the new Tiny will work well in a classic planner too.
I'm in my second semester of college right now and I just got my first happy planner around Christmas. The only sticker book I have right now is the student one and I love it!
Not quite a recommendation for all Planner Babes, but definitely for those who are students in high school or college... buy the purple student sticker pack. It is so amazing, and just seeing the exam date stickers in that pack actually make me excited for exams!

The seasonal sticker book is also really good for the themes and variety. My first book was either the pink student one (officially "Sweet Life") or the "Everyday Plans" one. I know that I chose them because they had the largest amount of stickers of the books available at the michaels I was at. Another good tip for newbies is to be patient. Michaels puts these stickers super on sale sometime in the fall, and also near xmas.

P.S. to a happy planner newbie: She is not lying about the don't buy them at full price, because they cost $19.99/sticker book. The Michaels and Hobby Lobby in my area (but mainly michaels) almost always have couples. So check on their site to see if they do before going out. Save those dollars ladies!
Okay never pay full price is a problem - I live in Australia.. No Michaels, no Joannes. No hobby lobby Got any suggestions? I would gratefully appreciate them. I’ve come over to the planner planet from trying to do art which I used to enjoy even though I’m legally blind (it’s no problem, thankfully I have about 5% vision but I can see regular print just very very close up with very strong strong glasses) I had to leave the art world somewhat behind as a chronic illness I have has started to affect my hands, for example I could no longer push my wheelchair myself - a few years ago a nurse joked that she could imagine me pushing myself down the corridor even with two broken arms, well my arms aren’t broken but I can’t push!. But I can still write doodle and use stickers: even if I don’t get them on straight to begin with or to end up with - LOL. Could you please help me darling. Otherwise I shell be paying full price on M&MBI’S website plus international postage - I don’t mind waiting if there will be a sale coming up or something like that. How do you know which accessories to buy? I got a planner and some stickers. I want to add the budget things in and a few others but so confused the difference between the big happy planner and the happy planner and the classic. Can you help please. Obviously I'm a newbie. But I've watched numerous videos. And still unsure.

I have another question. Which punch for paper would you get for the classic planner with 9 discs? The pink or blue one? The blue one says for use with happy planner, and the other one says big happy planner.

Seasonal! It was my first sticker book and I found myself going back to it often. In fact the birthday page from that book was my all time favorite!

Kacianne21 most of the time the accessories will say what size they are for, but you can also count the disc holes. Mini is 7, Classic is 9, BIG is 11

The blue is for the classic. Pink will work for classic and big.
