Todays video is a little bit different. I took on this vanity to makeover but it accidentally turned into my first furniture flipping fail of the year. Tune in to see what happened, and why it became a fail.

Your daughter is getting so big! She is adorable as always. I can't wait to see how you decide to finish this and I appreciate that you followed your heart and want it better than "good enough".

No need to apologize! If you're not loving the finish on your piece by all means redo it. Love watching your videos!

Hey, it's the process in which we learn. When I was doing local college classes, I remember deleting everything I had done and re-entered for an accounting class a good 10 or 12 times. (This was in the 80s prior to PC improvements) & the lack of my own understanding. Like a kid attempting to draw that perfect drawing on a flawless white paper. (BTW, I did get an A on my work.)
In your shoes, I probably would have just sand it down rather than strip paint. But then, you are the pro. Love that the supervisor is putting in her 2 cents!😂

Mini manager is getting Soo big...and Never apologize for keeping things real honey as Potential New furniture flippers should be able to get an idea Of how things go most times in reality before they jump into this as a job verses a hobby etc ...always love your videos my friend 🥰❣️

I really loved the finish. I think you did a great job. However, like you said, you have to be the one who loves it in the end, being that it's your work. ❤❤

Your daughter is getting so big and is a great helper. I like that your share the journey. Not all projects turn out perfect from the start.

Your manager is getting so big!!! I've had to start over as well when it doesn't turn out as you hoped it would... don't ever apologize... it's just life!!

Never apologize. We all learn from our mistakes. It's nice to see that things don't always work out for a pro. It makes the rest of us mere mortals feel better about our mistakes.

Curious to see what you'll do with the piece next time. I can be so slow with my own DIYs because if it doesn't go well I need a lot of time to find a solution. And I only have the weekends to begin with 😅

This is a great video because it's real life. Alot of people have projects they have a vision for and it doesn't turn out well so they start over. It's a bummer you have to strip it down again but it happens. Can't wait to see what you do with it.

No need to apologize. I didn't care for the finish and I'm glad you are starting over. Things don't always turn out as expected.

Ya, sometimes that's the way it goes with pieces, been there! I agree that it probably wasn't the best look for this piece, I am sure it will turn out great😊

No apology needed, sometimes stuff happens.
It's a pretty piece, would look good painted in a creamy white. Would be a nice addition as a vanity to a young girls room, just needs a mirror above it.

Hey it’s funny you said that because I was thinking that the paint wash was not covering the red tones very well. It was looking kind of pink ish.

I’ve been working on a buffet that I’ve tried multiple techniques on. I repainted it multiple times! I finally decided to just paint the damn thing without any special treatment and call it good! (I’m not done with it yet)!

I’m sure whatever you decide to do to the vanity it will be beautiful! Ive had to redo a few pieces that I wasn’t happy with so don’t sweat it…I’m sure it happens to everybody occasionally! And referring to what a subscriber said about the video being rushed…all of your loyal subscribers will be here for a 10 minute video or a 20 minute video! We love you! 🥰🥰🥰

I am sure you will make it GORGEOUS in your next video. Looking forward to that. Thanks so much for sharing a failure... the red undertones are awful... you must get rid of them.
