Rahim Sangiray Thanks man! That’s a built in fx called “scratch” and you can either use the strip or set it to “on” and change the parameters with the knobs.

Richard Richard Yes, mostly Premier for the video editing, but sometimes I make some simple animation stuff in AE.. No particular channel or website.. I just search it on YT if I can’t figure something out! 👊🏻

@@BoombapArt Lovely Cam that A6300. How do you like working with the SonyA6300? Awesome, now you can start shooting in 4k. =) I have an Sony a58, the image stabilization is super on that one but I mainly use a Canon 750D so I can stream video from the camera into OBS. The GoPros are indeed good allround cams. Again, great video Boombap!
Mattias Holmgren I like it so far.. haven’t messed around with all the settings yet, but yeah I really like the 4K option. Shot this video in 4K and downscaled it to 1080p. There’s only a few things that I don’t like, like the SD card location, the record button. My plan is to start streaming soon, just need to pick up a camlink 😊.. and figure out how to stream the MK3 on my PC without latency!
NEAT! SUBSCRIBED. Question for you: I am on Maschine + PT01. I want to scratch with movie lines and other fun stuff. What do you need to set up your PT01 + Serato vinyl with Maschine to scratch any sample? I don't want to buy crazy expensive gears if possible :p Any idea for a basic set-up (and still be able to sample the scratch back in Maschine? Cheers!
You will need the Serato Dj Software + DVS expansion and you’re good to go 👊🏻.. and yes, you’re able to sample into the Maschine

Trying to get into music producing like this, I have the Mikro MK3 but what else is needed to sample sounds from a record player. Like cords, equipment, software, etc.
Ah cool! I started out with Numark PT01 and what you’ll need is a turntable, a simple 2 channel interface like Komplete Audio 2, Focusrite 2i2, Arturia Minifuse, RCA to stereo cables or RCA to RCA with adapters. As far as software goes, I’ve been using Maschine software exclusively since day one.
Are Fruity Loops 20 it has the Edison sampler in the mixer dashboard..I always assign it to the Master control

I only have one record “just stay funky like that”, but you have all these YO cuts records, not sure if they’re easy to get.. when I tried to get a record everything was pretty much out of stock, or at a ridiculous price to get shipped to Sweden.

If i Got it right, you're using amx output to sample directly to your interface and midi to scratch? Isnt numark turntable able to export the audio to wav? Workflow or not worth numark audio export? do you use it at all? Cheers bro
Sup man! You got it right.. amx to interface and serato Dj Software + dvs vinyl to scratch whatever audio files.. I think you can hook it up via USB.. but I’ve never tried it.. so I can’t answer that question really, if you’re referring to audio quality. I actually switched out the needle when I bought the PT01.. and there’s tons of mods out now, everything from start/stop button to tonearm, platter, stylus etc..

Yes you can, but I’ve never recorded my scratches into Maschine, only sampling records. When I used my PT I recorded my scratching in the Serato Dj Software..

Sup! Nowadays I record the scratching separately inside Adobe Audition, in this video I might have recorded the scratch in Serato DJ Software, and then put everything together in Premiere Pro
what are you doing at 1:21-1:25? setting a choke group? or a limk between those pads?? im so confused.

dude last question about this I promise, but do you connect the maschine to the audio interface or to the pc, and what cables do you use to connect mixer and turntable??
No worries my friend! Maschine to the computer. From the mixer to the turntable it’s often RCA cables, and from the mixer out to the interface I have RCA to 1/4 inch TS jacks.. also works with rca to rca + adapters 👊🏻
