Hey, hope you enjoyed. Let me know if you have any thoughts or comments on these opinion pieces. Multiplayer series in the making; hope to have first video out this weekend.
It was all on sale last week for the anniversary with every piece of content at 75% off. As mentioned in my video, once you've found something that suits you the regular sales are the best time to pick up the DLCs.
@@SinisteRs_Gaming no i literally bought the ragnarok edition of valhalla on playstation during the anniversary and all the other DLC wasn't on sale only ragnarok and base game
Hey pal I recently bought arma3 and the marksmen dlc and can’t find the weapons I purchased in the campaign missions. Do I need to load them in somehow, or do they only work for multiplayer games, I’m a complete pc game noob so any info you can share will be appreciated thanks buddy 👍🇬🇧
Hello there and sorry for the delay. My notifications have been busted. The marksmen DLC adds an entire mini-campaign. To access it click on Singleplayer -> Showcases -> Marksmen. This will let you use some of the new assets added in the DLC in single player. Many multiplayer servers will also have the Marksmen assets as standard across their arsenals and by having the DLC installed you won't get watermarks across your screen when using these (Cyrus weapon, for example).
Hey. Me and two friends only picked up the base game. What can the 3 of us do together cooperatively. We’ve no interest in PvP yet because we only just all bought PC’s so are only getting used to mouse/keyboard
Hello! Welcome to arma. In my personal opinion the absolute best starting point for non-PvPers to play cooperatively is the game mode Invade & Annex. It doesn't require DLC or mods and has a huge development community. I actually have a whole series of guides, tutorials and videos for invade and annex on my channel. One tip though! Complete the bootcamp/tutorial before jumping into anything else. It's not very long but arma is a very complex game with a lot of systems and controls. Nothing will frustrate you, and your friends, more than entering into a server or lobby and not being able to interact with anything - vehicles, ammo crates, gear arsenals, etc.
Hey i know it's pretty late but i am currently a student and can preety much only afford only ARMA 3 vanilla. So will i be able to play official servers and other Multiplayer stuff?? Also the pics that you displayed on screen the same warning msg that appears when you use a item that is a DLC. Cause i think it is playable with that.
Hey, thank you for your comment. If you buy only the original Arma 3 then YES you will be able to play on about 99% of servers (you won't be able to play on any servers that say "sog", "vietnam" or "mike force" but there are not many of them. You will also be able to use 99% of the guns, uniforms and vehicles. You will just get watermarks occasionally across your screen if you use something from a DLC you don't have. As you mentioned this is absolutely fine for beginner players. Welcome to Arma 3 mate, you're going to love it.
Hey. Yes servers are very populated. I'm about to release a whole series of multiplayer tutorials this week. I've already uploaded my first one. You should check it out. There are hundreds of "full" servers in all geographical areas. You should definitely try them and get the game.
What? No, not at all. A majority of multiplayer servers are completely vanilla. If you want access to ALL the assets (aka: weapons, vehicles, etc.) you MAY require DLC but to enjoy 90% of the game you absolutely need nothing other than the base game.
@@SinisteRs_Gaming I’m sorry, I was in a bad mood when I commented this. So I should be fine for a little bit with the base game and apex? Also should I buy the Rest of the DLCs when they go on sale?
@@Silly_Fella2222 no stress, mate. If I was you I'd start with just the Vanilla Arma game and see how you like it, focusing on the tutorial, campaign and simple multiplayer servers (check out my I&A videos!). once you get more involved, I'd suggest picking up Helicopters, Jet and Tanks DLC and then Apex. The rest, in my opinion, are completely optional from that point although I personally love Marksmen.
You should buy Apex at a minimum. Once you're a bit more comfortable with the game and having fun pick up the remaining DLCs. Or if you think this is a game for you buy them all. They are great.
You don't need any of them. Most of them are completely useless since you can achieve the same thing with mods. Barely anyone plays on Tanoa which is the APEX terrain and it's assets are used on modded maps that doesn't require the dlc. Also I can say this since I run a community with ZERO dlc requirements and it's been working fine for 2+ years.

EA does it with the Sims and everybody looses their minds, but BI just released a new $15 DLC that adds a Knife bipod attachment? Take my money
😢
100 Lvl Colonel disapproves this message. You should earn your knife bipods, not buy it.
