Floating turbines like the ones in Germany help this problem, Also I think more advanced turbines have automatic shutoffs when they detect flocks of birds. I don't think Virginia is doing it though...
So is creating artificial reefs to fish them a good thing? Id be more impressed by a floating wind turbine
