Variety had some of the most talented actors working right now and a academy award winner director here and managed to ask them some of most terrible questions ever

Why do you feel bad for frozen water vapor? It gets to stick around for a while once it hits the ground… “poor rainy drops” should be more like it. They hit the ground and wash away into drainage systems almost immediately.

A NC-17 film could have some erotic scenes, but those scenes don’t define the entire movie.
Ana has made only 1 of those films, afterwards other action films without this rating and also a plethora of films before Marilyn, that don’t have this rating either. However, the only thing she’s asked about is “erotica” in the movie industry🤨

I agree with everyone else, this interview isn't very good. They were all just awkwardly looking at each other like "This is the question, how/why do we answer this"?? Sydney was even like "I'd really love to talk about Eden. . ." The first real question regarding Eden isn't until 9:48.
Sydney literally says “Would love to talk about Eden” and the interviewer proceeds to ask about how many offers she receives. It’s a shame their time was wasted when we could’ve had some really interesting answers.

I love Vanessa Kirby since Mission Impossible Fallout and her role as princess Margaret in the Crown Netflix series, and I adore Ana De Armas since the amazing Blade Runner sequel and Knives out. These two women are absolutely beautiful and great actresses. I'm not a big Sydnee Sweeney fan. She's cute and a pretty good actress, but I don't see the big deal with her. She's no Zendaya or Florence Pugh, or Anya T Joy or Hailee steinfeld etc.

@@immymothersdaughter7238 she never had any surgery or prosthetics to look like Marilyn. The director Andrew was dead set on making sure Ana didn’t do anything to change herself for the role. Some directors have their actors do certain things like gaining/losing weight, (yes some directors have asked if their actors could get surgical procedures, however that’s very rare) and other things. I personally don’t like Andrew but him not changing actors to better suit real or fictional characters is the one thing I respect him for.

I can't imagine the excitement as an interviewer to see a cast like this. Solid gold. And then to go ahead and ask these questions. What an absolute failure Variety. Sexualizing woman in film can be expected from male interviewers, nothing new to the industry. But to come from a woman. Everything about this interview is a shame.
