Mood Series: ISOLATION

In this video, our mood series turns to the theme of ISOLATION. We are all too familiar with isolation after the past two years. This was an incredibly difficult time for many people and to honour this ConTempo Quartet explore the theme of isolation through the music of Ina Boyle. This female Irish composer lived a very isolated life in Co. Wicklow during a dramatic period of history. Here, ConTempo Quartet considers the affect this had on her life and her work.
This February, Galway Music Residency presents a very special edition of Connecting with ConTempo - our 'Mood Series'.
